RecommendedMoved into this neighborhood just a few months ago. My experience has been fantastic. I've lived in almost all parts of the South Bay, so I can confidently say this is one of the safest spots I've lived at. It's near DTSJ, so a lot happening in the area, but TBH this is pretty safe considering how close it is to downtown. I almost never hear my neighbors, neighborhood is really nice(aka a lot of great stores nearby), and Alaina has been super helpful during the whole process. I would highly recommend living here.

RecommendedThis is a great apartment complex. The staff has been super helpful, the facilities are very nice and modern, and the apartments are quiet, well designed, comfortable, and bigger than one would expect based on seeing the pictures and the floor plan. The complex is in a nice neighborhood near UCSF and is probably in the nicest location out of the several new apartment complexes in the area. I moved in with my girlfriend over a year ago and this place was amazing at first. We could tell right out of the gate that management would be hard to communicate with. They care about you a lot while you’re moving in but once the keys get passed, over expect a week or two before a reply back to an email. Sometimes they don’t even reply. For example we submitted our move out notice (couldn’t take it here anymore) they replied a week later and told us to fill out a form. RecommendedThere have been a few issues within the my apartment over the two years I've lived in the building, but maintenance has resolved every issue I had. They're extremely attentive and prompt in responding to tenant's concerns and for that I recommend the Ava Ballston Square.
