Over the last 6 or 7 products, that I have bought from Asus. On each one the ASUS support staff have had very narrow definitions on what they are allowed to be repaired. On each attempt where a clear manufacturing oversight was found Asus would mandate a immediate response on repairs or they would send the device meant to be repaired back immediately. On several repairs I would get the device to them have them tell me that its not covered under warranty and instead of waiting a day for a response would send it back as soon a... read more

Horrible RMA process. They do not even deserve any stars. Sent back my monitor to be RMAed because lines appeared in the screen. They are saying that the frame of the monitor is detached and I have to pay to repair it. I told them the monitor was intact when I sent it via Fedex and that I am not paying for it. They closed my request and stating that they are sending the monitor back to me. I tried to claim from FEDEX but they are unable to process it without a Shippers Waiver from ASUS. The customer service supervisor says t... read more

I would like to start with that I usually build my own desktop computer when I want a new. I will spend the time to review the products online and pick out a decent mid level components with good lifespans. This time I decided to have someone else put the computer together for me and actually handle all of the technical stuff, even picking out the components (all of them, including the MB). I think this is where I messed up after seeing how many poor reviews ASUS has been receiving concerning their products and customer serv... read more

Business response:

I finally ended up sending in the motherboard for repair which was a total mistake. The stole the SSD M.2 250GB card I had forgotten to take the cover off and remove, so they did that and kept my drive. They also kept my Antennas, both of them. And they botched the repair, the Bluetooth worked partially for less then 10 minutes and stopped again.

This company deserves no stars. I bought a laptop from them and it immediately started freezing and crashing. I need it for work and took it to Best Buy. They wanted to send it out for weeks and when I said I needed something to work on and couldn't be without a device for that long, I called the company and they won't issue a replacement or a loaner. They said they would check on whether they could expedite repairs and call me back and then never did. This piece of crap crashes during meetings all day long. Recently, it fro... read more

I am a certified computer technician with over 20 years of experience in the computer industry. I have dealt with countless Customer Service centers over the years, some good, some bad, but I have never dealt with any customer service department as horrific as Asus. It almost goes beyond description to define it. Horrible, Egregious, and Atrocity, do not seem like strong enough words. Here is a story to help you understand. In March of 2020, I bought an ASUS AC3100 (RT-AC88U) Gaming Router. After less than a week of use, the... read more

I purchased a TUF GAMING X570-PLUS (WI-FI) off of newegg for $189.99. After a couple of months, the USB-C port started malfunctioning and eventually stopped working. I then contacted Asus for an RMA. Asus flat out refused to issued me a new replacement board and would only issue me a refurbished model. Asus would also not send me a replacement motherboard until they received the defective board and estimated a month turn around time. I told them that this was unacceptable and eventually got them to offer the advanced return ... read more

I sent in a headset that had wiring problems within a year and would not longer work. It was within warrantee, and it has been over 2 months that they have had my headset. To make things worse, it has taken them AT MINIMAL a week between every response with no progress being made in the situation. I spent $350 for this PREMIUM headset only for it to break within a year, and the company not being able to fulfill their warrantee within 2 months. They also won't replace the headset because they claim they do not have anything t... read more

I purchased a motherboard that quit working in less than a year. I returned it November 18 using a shipping label they created, but I paid for. Per FedEx tracking, it was received at their repair center two days later. It’s now a month later and despite numerous email and phones calls, when I check the status of my RMA on their website it states that they are still waiting for my return. I co to us to get response telling me the issue will be resolved in 24-48 hours. It’s now been almost two weeks and still no resolution. Th... read more

Avoid ASUS - They have no Customer Service. We tried to register an ASUS product. We spoke to Customer Service 5 times! No one could assist us with the registration of a new monitor. We tried to speak with a manager or supervisor however the rep refused to help and would not forward out call. We are returning the monitor for a full refund as ASUS has demonstrated to us, that they do not stand behind the products that they sell.
