In January 2022, i built a desktop computer i made sure the components were compatible by using a site called 'PC Part Picker'. I purchased the ASUS 'ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero ATX AM4' main board for $429.00. I am a systems integrator and use lots of ASUS motherboards. My experience with ASUS, is that the product is generally good, but if you ever need support with anything, then you are basically on your own. Why does a company like ASUS have such bad customer support?
I bought a ******* laptop and after 10 months laptop stop working asus didnt honor the warranty on the product i want people to know dont buy asus products you will regret it. I tried several times several phone calls to asus and no results there customer ********************** is just a joke there reps dont even know about there own products.
I recently purchased an ASUS router from newegg, the ***AX82U. The product lasted me 3 weeks before issue came up. The wifi signal died the next week it completly stopped working. As it was still under warranty, I contacted ASUS customer support as each issue came up. The first time I was told they had none instock and asked me to try again in a week. I RMA'd my **** to them the first week of Feb 2022. Then, they sent me a **** with buzzing vibrating fans. So I RMA'd it back. Over 1 month later, end of March 2022 they sent me a "****" but instead it was an RX580 with a **** sticker on the top right. HOW this happens is beyond me, if they're "testing" the unit and it "functions" how do they miss that it is a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT GPU from 5 years ago, not an ********? I Bought my son a new ASUS Zenbook Q408UG in September 2021 from Best Buy. This was my first time buying an ASUS. We were happy with this laptop until the screen began separating from the body of the laptop within three months. After following the online instructions for repair I was told to take it back to Best Buy, who refused to fix it. I called ASUS several times and was told that Physical Damage is not covered. Bought an ASUS ROG Zephyrus 14 in summer of 2020, around Mid may, beginning of June because I like gaming but also needed a new laptop of music and starting school.
