They almost refuse to have any real type of customer service. bought a bad item the store doesnt have another one to send out so i need to RMA the item. i asked if i could pay for cross shipping to get the item faster. they refused. they wanted to have my pay to return their broken item and have their RMA team confirm it doesnt work. i said no thank yoiu and returned it to the store. I will never buy asus if thats how bad they treat customers. thats just not having any respect for the product nor do they back any thing they ... read more

New Chromebook csme out of the box with a weak left hinge, after a few days it was gettng worse. Called for warranty repair and was told they don't have manufacturing problems and the problem was damageand i would have to pay, since damage is not covered under the warranty. They claim to have no issues at all with thier hinges.

After making some changes in the system setting in the control panel trying to increase my security, my computer told me it needed to restart in order to save the changes. Upon restarting, it asked me for a "startup password", or a "bios password". I never set a password on my computer, so this means that the manufacturer (ASUS) must be the one who set it. Asus Support is horrible. I purchased a very expensive Graphics cards and it went bad. Upon RMA I have been waiting for over a month. They do not respond to emails, they make mistakes on their end and punish the customer for it. I have been promised from "Supervisors" that my card would be shipped out multiple times and it still has not happened. I do not recommend buying Asus parts. The support is horrible and they will have you running around so much that you just want to give up. Pathetic customer service

I have been a diehard Asus fan. I have bought there laptops several times as well as monitors. This last laptop ************ I purchased new is a total piece of cheap garbage. On game play it stutters or slight freezes. I have tried to get there technicians to trouble shoot over chat to no prevail. I go to there online forum. My ASUS experience was negative to say the least. I submitted my notebook for assessment and repair for hardware problems that occurred due to the original quality of the product. The notebook's LCD screen went around the two year mark. The hinge for the notebook went around the 13 month mark. ASUS wanted to charge me $680 for the repair, which was due to a quality problem in the first place. However, the main issue came from ASUS customer service. I have bought 2 asus pc's and my first by was in 2007, and it remained strong for 10 years. I don't know why the negative reviews. I just purchased my new machine about 3 months ago. It runs flawless and have no compaints... except for win 10. Every update is missirble. I am a strong consumer of ASUS products. This PC for the money, surprised my expectations. Lightning fast, and a pleasure to type this review. Ya'll need to relax a bit. M. ******. Satisfied customer. I will buy another in 10 years!

I purchased an Asus motherboard in March, 2017 and submitted a $25 rebate request. It is now August (5 months!) and my rebate has still not arrived. Each time I check the status of the rebate I get the same responses, "It will be (reviewed/approved/sent/mailed/resubmitted) in six to eight weeks. Asus makes great products but DO NOT count on ever getting the rebate as promised.

Will not be purchasing another Asus product ever and will tell everyone I know to stay away from this company. Warranty is ridiculous- had to pay 30.00 to ship a covered product 3 states away. Asus would not provide me with a copy of their warranty to back up the claims they made that applied to my product. Online support chat person was rude, arrogant, and did not provide any service except to confirm that they lost me as a customer. Do not even know if they will fix my under-warranty laptop- expecting more problems!
