My ASUS experience was negative to say the least. I submitted my notebook for assessment and repair for hardware problems that occurred due to the original quality of the product. The notebook's LCD screen went around the two year mark. The hinge for the notebook went around the 13 month mark. ASUS wanted to charge me $680 for the repair, which was due to a quality problem in the first place. However, the main issue came from ASUS customer service. I have bought 2 asus pc's and my first by was in 2007, and it remained strong for 10 years. I don't know why the negative reviews. I just purchased my new machine about 3 months ago. It runs flawless and have no compaints... except for win 10. Every update is missirble. I am a strong consumer of ASUS products. This PC for the money, surprised my expectations. Lightning fast, and a pleasure to type this review. Ya'll need to relax a bit. M. ******. Satisfied customer. I will buy another in 10 years!

I purchased an Asus motherboard in March, 2017 and submitted a $25 rebate request. It is now August (5 months!) and my rebate has still not arrived. Each time I check the status of the rebate I get the same responses, "It will be (reviewed/approved/sent/mailed/resubmitted) in six to eight weeks. Asus makes great products but DO NOT count on ever getting the rebate as promised.

Will not be purchasing another Asus product ever and will tell everyone I know to stay away from this company. Warranty is ridiculous- had to pay 30.00 to ship a covered product 3 states away. Asus would not provide me with a copy of their warranty to back up the claims they made that applied to my product. Online support chat person was rude, arrogant, and did not provide any service except to confirm that they lost me as a customer. Do not even know if they will fix my under-warranty laptop- expecting more problems!

Asus has the crappiest warranty I have ever seen you buy a brand-new component that does not work and they only offer to repair it even though it has a 3-year replacement warranty and you have to send the part back for their so-called repair on your own dime parts do not work correctly I bought a motherboard from them have only had it for two to three months and I've been chasing the same issue since the second day I had it I've done everything they had asked me for troubleshooting including replacing every other component o... read more

My graphics card that I paid $400 for arrived broken. I had to contact them 5 times to get an RMA number, and when I sent it to them, they wouldn't pay for shipping. When it returned, it preformed worse, and had to send it back. It's been there for weeks now, and they won't apologize for this experience.

ASUS appears to do everything it can to exhaust the time and patience of its customers so they do NOT have to honor their rebate offers. ASUS has so far given me four different dates as to when I can receive my rebate: 1. The approval email I received on April 29th said the rebate would be mailed within 5 to 7 weeks. Allowing one week for mail delivery time would mean delivery by June 24th. Not received. 2. I send my cell phone for repair because of a Cracked screen. ASUS received it on May 23rd. Today is June 27th. It turned out that the screen was not broken, only the protector on top of it. I got this information after calling 4 times to ask the status of the repair. Each and every time, a very polite individual somewhere in the world took notes of my calls and told me that they would be escalated to the repair team. Warranty is worthless. Requires sending the device in for an extended period of time which doesn't work for a router unless you want to go without internet access for an extended period of time. This company is out of touch with the needs of their customers.
