Buying my computer from ASUS was one of the biggest mistakes I could have made. First they sent me a faulty laptop, acting up since I received it and frying it's own hard drive within the first 3-4 months of owning it. They then replaced the hard drive and the computer was still faulty and started deleting it's touch pad drivers. ASUS support dragged the case on for six months without any updates or resolution. My son purchased the Asus model Q524UQ 2 Laptop for college in July 2017. By end of January 2018, he was having hardware issues. Sent the laptop to Asus for repair TWICE and they still didn’t fix the problem. They have offered to replace it with another laptop - it’s been over 2 weeks and they have no update as to when the replacement laptop will be sent out. They don’t even offer an extended warranty on the replacement laptop so if he has any issues with what they give him, he’s stuck with it. If they stood by their product... read more

ASUS was a decent sounding company to me at first. That was until the phone i received from them stopped charging after only 5 months of having it. I sent it back hoping that the warranty would cover it but they claimed it was user caused damage. The funny thing about this is that my brother has the same phone and just received it back after his 3rd time sending it in and his was fixed and it had the same problem.

I bought an expensive gaming laptop, the ROG GL502VS, and it worked perfectly for about 3 months. After that, the battery failed so I sent it to a repair facility. I sent my device in early November and had to wait until February before I finally got it back "repaired". During this entire time, I had to call ASUS daily in order for any progress to be made on my device and to receive any information on its repair status. Up until about a month ago I was a supporter of Asus. I had an issue with a port on my laptop, and troubleshot it for hours on my own and several hours with the makers of the graphics card manufacturer to narrow the problem. Asus's phone support spent only about 10 minutes with me before telling me they would fix the problem, and that my laptop was under warranty and should be fixed in about 7-10 business days. I bought an ASUS T10 stick computer with Windows 10 64 bit computer last year. The company sold it with the software. The computer came with an ATOM processor and a 32 GB Hard drive. I have processed the Windows update every month or when they are released and now this I cannot run them anymore because there is not enough extra room to run these. ASUS has been mediocre products in my opinion, but this time had been worst experience for me. I have purchase their CD/DVD external drive through newegg with $10 rebate which appears to be a good deal for black friday. I have read the reviews and mostly were quality issues and rebates. Well I tried to ignore the complaints about the rebate since I was merely aiming for quality which it was in 50/50 ballpark. My computer was extremely misdiagnosed. I was told it needed a new motherboard & quoted an exorbitant price for repair: $510. I opted out of allowing them to repair my computer for I felt it should have been around $200. After I finally received my computer back, I had it running within hours. It did NOT need anything except a reinstallation of Windows. It is running fine now. I asked there engineering team to develop a driver for Windows server for motherboard model p8z77-v while my board was in warranty and they sent they request to there development team at asus, and they never got back to me until i emailed and followed up with 2 days now they are saying they don't support the drivers for this board so I asked for replacement but they refused it just because I am out off warranty, now I am stuck with this hunk a junk for which I payed $500. please do your self don't choose ASUS for any product... read more
