In Feb of 2017, i purchased a $799 laptop model Q504UA-BHI5T13 on sale for $599 along with geek squad warranty for one year. Geek squad set up the computer per my requests. On Feb 28, I returned to Geek squad because computer went into multiple prolonged self-checks. I returned to Best Buy because of concerns I might have a "lemon" and did not want a repair. Instead, Best Buy let me exchange this model for Q304UA-BHI5T111. Geek squad set this computer up for me. In June 2017, this new model had a hard drive failure and was s... read more

I purchased one of the laptops that can fold into a tablet. After about 6 months the plastic around the bottom left of the monitor started to split. Then about 2 months later it split to the point that it was unusable, so I decided to send it in. Shipping it to them cost about $30, then they claimed that the break (Completely through natural use) wasn't covered and the cost to repair would be $410, which is about half the cost of the laptop to begin with. Then out of "generosity" they lowered it to $350. Customer support was... read more

I purchased an ASUS refurbished monitor for 600 dollars, which was only about a hundred short of the cost for the original. I knew that the supplier held no long term warranty, but I assumed (which is on me) that the manufacturer would at least discuss a repair price for a problem that is known to be an issue with the monitor I purchased (a rog swift pg278q). I am giving two stars because for about 2 years the monitor worked very well, but that is where it ends. The screen started to flicker brightness during games, and was ... read more

Buying my computer from ASUS was one of the biggest mistakes I could have made. First they sent me a faulty laptop, acting up since I received it and frying it's own hard drive within the first 3-4 months of owning it. They then replaced the hard drive and the computer was still faulty and started deleting it's touch pad drivers. ASUS support dragged the case on for six months without any updates or resolution. As I am a college student without a computer I have become very agitated to know that they treat their costumers th... read more

My son purchased the Asus model Q524UQ 2 Laptop for college in July 2017. By end of January 2018, he was having hardware issues. Sent the laptop to Asus for repair TWICE and they still didn’t fix the problem. They have offered to replace it with another laptop - it’s been over 2 weeks and they have no update as to when the replacement laptop will be sent out. They don’t even offer an extended warranty on the replacement laptop so if he has any issues with what they give him, he’s stuck with it. If they stood by their product... read more

ASUS was a decent sounding company to me at first. That was until the phone i received from them stopped charging after only 5 months of having it. I sent it back hoping that the warranty would cover it but they claimed it was user caused damage. The funny thing about this is that my brother has the same phone and just received it back after his 3rd time sending it in and his was fixed and it had the same problem.

I bought an expensive gaming laptop, the ROG GL502VS, and it worked perfectly for about 3 months. After that, the battery failed so I sent it to a repair facility. I sent my device in early November and had to wait until February before I finally got it back "repaired". During this entire time, I had to call ASUS daily in order for any progress to be made on my device and to receive any information on its repair status. Finally once I got it back, I took it out of the box, tried to turn on a moderate game, Overwatch, and the... read more

Up until about a month ago I was a supporter of Asus. I had an issue with a port on my laptop, and troubleshot it for hours on my own and several hours with the makers of the graphics card manufacturer to narrow the problem. Asus's phone support spent only about 10 minutes with me before telling me they would fix the problem, and that my laptop was under warranty and should be fixed in about 7-10 business days. One misspelled email address, $50, and 3 hours later my laptop was in the mail to be repaired. Shipping company tol... read more

I bought an ASUS T10 stick computer with Windows 10 64 bit computer last year. The company sold it with the software. The computer came with an ATOM processor and a 32 GB Hard drive. I have processed the Windows update every month or when they are released and now this I cannot run them anymore because there is not enough extra room to run these. I have one small program 22MB that I use on this but that should not matter. I contacted support and basically they told me too bad, this product has its limitations. They are still... read more
