Garbage. I purchased a Asus ROG Gaming computer in May 2016, after just two years the PC dies completely. Of course its out of warrantee so there is nothing I can do without shelling out $100s of dollars in repairs. I contacted Asus who basically told me "too bad" and btw it will cost you $400+ TO START for us to repair this machine. Never, ever, ever again will I purchase an Asus. I see that others have had the same issues as well. I spent $1600 on this machine. Asus refuses to provide me a replacement or refund. Avoid, Avo... read more

Dear Valued Customer, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I certainly understand your concerns and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I'm sorry to hear your previous experience with ASUS did not go so well. ASUS warranty terms are one year from either date of serial number or proof of purchase. If after the warranty expires then the customer would be responsible for costs incurred to repair the product. ASUS thanks you for your valuable feedback on this and we apologize for any issues you hav... read more
The motherboard goes out 6 months after a 12 month warranty on an $1100 laptop and Asus takes no responsibility in their product or even offers a discount or anything. It cost $410 to repair; combine that with original price for a total of $1510. I should have bought a Dell or any other major brand. I'm also sure any other manufacturer would have taken a better process in repairing their main part of a computer, especially for a high priced laptop.

Ordered a router, didn't work. Contacted support and offered no help. Kept being asked what model of router it was when I told them multiple times. Common issue with the router from what I've read online yet they offer no help. Would joy recommend their routers to anyone.

As far as their phone products go, they leave a lot to be desired. First of all I had to send my phone in after owning it for only 7 months because the charging cable would not stay secured in the charging port. After sending it to them they informed me that due to sand being inside the phone and other damage that the warranty was void. The damage I saw in a picture they sent looked like a dent on a component inside the phone. There is no way I could have caused the damage because the other picture they sent was of the back ... read more

I sent a motherboard that stopped working in for RMA (still under warranty). The packaging was rock solid and there was no way the motherboard would be moving within the box. The CPU cover was on securely. Lo and behold, I was sent pictures of numerous CPU pins bent with an invoice for 75$. I triple checked the pins before shipping but of course, that means nothing to ASUS, who would not take any responsibility. I will never buy another ASUS product because of their customer service.

Recently I had sent out my motherboard for an RMA after it working for about 2 years before the Bluetooth chip malfunctioned, they went through the usual troubleshooting to make sure software and drivers were good to go, which they were. They issued an RMA, I sent it and after a repair which they indicated that it was a full replacement due to shortage of parts. I thought okay I should be in the clear for a few years based upon the last boards performance. That thought was as wrong as it could have been. As soon as I took th... read more

In Feb of 2017, i purchased a $799 laptop model Q504UA-BHI5T13 on sale for $599 along with geek squad warranty for one year. Geek squad set up the computer per my requests. On Feb 28, I returned to Geek squad because computer went into multiple prolonged self-checks. I returned to Best Buy because of concerns I might have a "lemon" and did not want a repair. Instead, Best Buy let me exchange this model for Q304UA-BHI5T111. Geek squad set this computer up for me. In June 2017, this new model had a hard drive failure and was s... read more

I purchased one of the laptops that can fold into a tablet. After about 6 months the plastic around the bottom left of the monitor started to split. Then about 2 months later it split to the point that it was unusable, so I decided to send it in. Shipping it to them cost about $30, then they claimed that the break (Completely through natural use) wasn't covered and the cost to repair would be $410, which is about half the cost of the laptop to begin with. Then out of "generosity" they lowered it to $350. Customer support was... read more
I purchased an ASUS refurbished monitor for 600 dollars, which was only about a hundred short of the cost for the original. I knew that the supplier held no long term warranty, but I assumed (which is on me) that the manufacturer would at least discuss a repair price for a problem that is known to be an issue with the monitor I purchased (a rog swift pg278q). I am giving two stars because for about 2 years the monitor worked very well, but that is where it ends. The screen started to flicker brightness during games, and was ... read more
