ASUS appears to do everything it can to exhaust the time and patience of its customers so they do NOT have to honor their rebate offers. ASUS has so far given me four different dates as to when I can receive my rebate: 1. The approval email I received on April 29th said the rebate would be mailed within 5 to 7 weeks. Allowing one week for mail delivery time would mean delivery by June 24th. Not received. 2. I send my cell phone for repair because of a Cracked screen. ASUS received it on May 23rd. Today is June 27th. It turned out that the screen was not broken, only the protector on top of it. I got this information after calling 4 times to ask the status of the repair. Each and every time, a very polite individual somewhere in the world took notes of my calls and told me that they would be escalated to the repair team. Warranty is worthless. Requires sending the device in for an extended period of time which doesn't work for a router unless you want to go without internet access for an extended period of time. This company is out of touch with the needs of their customers.
I purchased an ASUS motherboard with a 3 year warranty. During startup, the PC would not post and the machine was unusable. After they received the defective motherboard, they informed me in no uncertain terms that they would not honor the warranty and that I would have to pay what amounted to be twice the cost of the unit in the first place. This company will renege on warranties and their customer fulfillment is a joke. Stay far, far away.
ASUS is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. My $1000+ desktop computer stopped working for no reason suddenly after one year of use in September 2016, so I called customer service, who agreed to repair the unit for free if I would pay shipping. Sounded great. So I send in the unit and received it back "repaired" about 3 weeks later. Had exact same issue and computer couldn't even boot up. Called ASUS and spent HOURS on phone. If I could give negative stars I would. I started an RMA 3 weeks ago with these guys. I have called in 3 separate times and have been told 3 different things every time I've called in. Their support is horrible, as the head has no idea what the foot is doing. My company will no longer promote or purchase their products.
Stay away from ASUS. They peddle low quality products and just plain don't care how long your equipment is down. Their CEO, ****** **** in Taiwain, has no idea what customer satisfaction is. I'm posting from personal experience with ASUS. ALWAYS AVOID THIS COMPANY!

I have been sold a defective product by ASUS and they will not send me a replacement or refund my money. They insist I send in a monitor I use on a daily basis for repair that could take up to 2 weeks. I refuse to buy another ASUS product and will ensure everyone I can tell won't either. Do not talk to ******* *., ****** or ***** in their line of support. They will give you the runaround and never get you anywhere.
I purchased an ASUS Motherboard from Microcenter on March 4, 2017. I was waiting for more parts to arrive so I could complete the new Computer build. Once all the items arrived I put the Computer together only to run into random error codes thrown from the motherboard. Since I was out of my 15 day return policy I had to send the motherboard to ASUS for RMA. The motherboard arrived at the ASUS RMA Department on March 30th and was not touched till April 6th.
