I do NOT recommend purchasing an ASUS product. Our laptop is barely 6 months old and has had one problem after the next. I contacted the technical support people 6 times, SIX, and still have not received help or even a reply! I am so disgusted with this product and the lame so-called "service" they clearly do not provide. We unfortunately will have to dish out more money to replace this laptop sooner than we planned no thanks to the incompetent employee's of ASUS Costumer Service Center. Shame on them.

Go outside, pick up a rock, bring it inside....this is about what you're going to get if you buy an ASUS anyway....a paperweight. Bought a brand new, transformer book from Best Buy LAST CHRISTMAS for boyfriend and it has been nothing but a headache. Quick overview: problems straight out of box, returned to best buy and got a replacement. He set it up, used it for maybe an hour, shut it down. Went to play on it a couple of weeks later, no power. Its cheap product and bad costumer service. I bought a new ASUS computer for $1400 to replace my old computer. After only 1 ½ years the laptop has been nothing but a pain. Had issues with updates and then nothing worked. When I called in for a RMA first thing they say is “it will be $700 to fix” not even a hesitation which tells me this happens a lot. I purchased an ASUS QE200 touchscreen laptop in 2013. I did not do my homework as good as I should have, I trusted the big box store. I purchased the extended warranty and after the first year it was overheating and I needed a new battery. I have used this laptop less than 20 times so it's practically new. The laptop has a keyboard issue, some of the keys do not work. I received a voicemail from FedEx notifying me that I have missed three attempted deliveries. Knowing I haven't ordered anything, right away I knew something was fishy. When I called FedEx they confirmed someone made a purchase with my name and phone number, purchasing a computer from ASUS. When I called ASUS they acted like they had no idea what I was talking about when in fact a close friend shared with me that years ago the same issue happened to her ex partner with ASUS. Asus costumer service sucks they have return my computer without fixing it twice, they want payment first and the links they send me for payment do not work, so they send the item back with no explanations. Not worth the trouble never again will I buy this type of computer.

This is the last month that I would be eligible to use my 12 month warranty for my Asus laptop. At the time that I bought the product, Asus was selling parts such as compatible charger cables. Now Asus won't sell any parts without a warranty. When my warranty is over next month I will apparently have to toss the laptop in the garbage since I cannot get Asus to honor my warranty. I called in for a repair on a laptop that was under warranty (less than 1 year old). While waiting for RMA information and shipping instructions, I was called to military orders. When I returned from orders (2 months later) and called to check the status of the claim, I was told a RMA was never created and now the laptop was no longer under warranty and a RMA could not be created for an in warranty item when the item was out of warranty.
