I have been a customer of APRIA for over 5 yrs. My insurance # changed 1/1/19, I called to let them know but for some reason it wasn’t posted so they billed my credit card for my supplies $168. My insurance paid them quickly but they said it takes 7-21 days to refund me! It is Day 20, no refund yet! They are short over the phone and just repeat their policy over and over! Horrible service. Billing department is completely inept. I am receiving bills for something paid by insurance 2 years ago. I have spent countless hours on the phone to be told I am owed a refund, yet I get a call from a collection agency. Agency has now sent letter finding we are not in default (truth, it was already paid by insurance in 2017!) Today, new bill received. I have taken countless notes and been promised that they actually owe me money. It’s a complete cluster. Avoid at all costs.
Apria seems to be trying to actively kill my mother through incompetence and neglect. The opposite of Healthcare.
Apria is billing me $414.67 this month for my CPAP and O2 concentrator. And this is a new charge, after last month's bill was paid off to $0. Normally it doesn't go above $60/month. Why?
Worst company ever! Their customer service doesn’t know what they’re doing. They barely speak English. Horrible.
Qaiting 10 days for my son's wheelchair so he can go back to school. Per apria it was my ins co fault. Call ins co and they have no request from Apria and turns out we dont even need authorization. Tell this to Apria who tells me its ins co fault for not calling Apria...how would my ins know to call them if they never received a request. Ask to speak to a supervisor and got hung up on. 33 minutes into the call.
Absolutely the worst customer service ever. They have turned our account to collections even though we have made payment and can show it has been pulled from our bank account. Their answer...just pay the collection agency. DO NOT use Apria. And after spending two hours on the phone, three people later, they applied the payment to someone else’s account.
