The absolute worst customer service experience I have ever encountered. It took three tries for them to confirm receipt of a faxed prescription. They never initiated any contact, I always had to call them, go through the same story. After two and half weeks of waiting for a Medicare-approved wheelchair for my mother, Apria Healthcare asked for Clinical Notes from the doctor. Apria Healthcare does not care about patients. In 20 yrs I have never known a service as broken. 86yr has been awaiting a Roho mattress for 10 days. Apria staff is unable to provide detailed scheduling information. America deserves better service.

I have been trying to place an order for my CPAP supplies for over two months! The first order they canceled because they said my insurance company never responded to their request for authorization. I called Apria back and after an hour and a half on the phone, I spoke to someone in Finance and she indicated that they already have the authorization in my file and transferred me to a Customer Service Representative who said that they would send everything out ASAP. If you want to wait on hold for 30 minutes a day to follow up on an order to get no where and then wait 10 business days for insurance approval and then they don’t even ask for your insurance information, do business here?!?! My blood is boiling. This is NOT ACCEPTABLE and we pay for this crap?!? I said so what happens when my daughter ends up in the hospital because she has to reuse Caths. BEWARE!!!!! 5 years back we were assured by Apria that our insurance would cover a CPAP. We were not sure. I was rushed into signing their contract. Soon we were told that we were NOT covered and they pursued us relentlessly never being able to find anyone in Apria who would talk to us other than to say "PAY UP!!!" Ww finally were able to talk to the local manager who offered to take the unit back and not charge us any additional. We had already paid around $500.00 in just over a month. I have been waiting for a walker and shower bench for 3 months. I called and get told someone will return my call, but no one does. I call again today to get told my order was cancelled, but they don't know why. Someone could have told me that a month and a half ago. Worst place I've ever dealt with. I will never do business with Apria again!

Worst DME company in the US. Horrible customer service. they will take your money and then you have to fight to get it back when they are wrong !!! Don't give them debit card ever.
