I have been a patient if Dr. Anthony Avery for several years and am very impressed and grateful for the expert orthopedic care he has provided me. He has a true professional manner, takes his time reviewing my condition, and answers my questions. I carry his card with me wherever I travel just in case there is a situation where I need orthopedic care….I will want that caregiver to consult with Dr. Avery as to my orthopedic history and what his approach for my care would be.
This was a final visit following discharge from physical therapy for a total knee replacement. Osteoarthritis is not fun. But with my new knee, I have the ability to keep on moving. He listened to my questions and and monitored my recovery carefully. I found him genuinely caring and willing to provide clear explanations for range of motion goals, for example. Dr. Avery is an excellent surgeon and physician.
Dr Avery is always very patient and knowledgeable. Even though I just see him for routine knee injections, he always takes his time and answers my questions about a potential future knee replacement.
I have been a patient of Dr. Avery for 3 years after having been knocked by dogs 3 years ago. I was very happy with the care I received at the time of the injury, and I see him every six months for cortisone shots which I have always felt were needed. When I went for PT 3 years ago, I met a woman about my age who had knee replacement surgery by Dr. Avery. Dr. Avery brings the right amount of compassion, humor, candor, and competence to his patients. He performed a total knee replacement on my right knee recently and I’m enjoying an on schedule recovery due to his professionalism and caring. He is a great doctor.
Third time through with Dr Avery on various injuries. He’s a great communicator and listens to his patients. He also treated my daughter and gave her great comfort and understanding with respect to her shoulder injury.
Highly recommend Dr. Anthony Avery . He takes the time to listen and answer questions and explain treatment options. His entire team is professional, friendly and caring. Very positive experience.
