I trust Dr. Avery; he takes his time to describe the issues and options with you, and doesn’t sugar-coat the possible outcomes. He has both repaired my ruptured Achilles, and performed arthroscopy on my knee.

Dr Avery was wonderful. He put my concerns to rest by answering all my questions. Nothing was a silly question to him. He did not rush. He made me feel that I was the only patient in that day. I have been told for years that my knees needed to be replaced but I was never comfortable to agree.....until I met Dr Avery. He is honest and helps you manage expectations. Thank you Dr Avery.

Waiting for Dr Avery may be lengthy but he’s worth it. He never rushes through visits and treats all patients the same. Plan to wait and you won’t be disappointed!!!

I originally saw Dr. Avery for second opinion about my shoulder. I was already going to physical therapy for a few months, but seeing no results. He worked with me and tried additional non-surgical approaches. Since my first visit, he explained everything that was wrong with my shoulder with drawing and a shoulder model. He took time to listen to me and ask questions. I had a shoulder impingement. At no point was he pushing surgery, and left it completely up to me on what I wanted to do. After going through all the non-surgi... read more

Dr. Avery provides everything one would want or need from his orthopedist. Dr. Avery is compassionate, conscientious, and attentive During one’s visit, he takes time to listen to the concerns, explain treatment options and procedures clearly, and also manage expectations. He is not aggressive to push for surgery, he offers effective recommendations, but when needed Dr. Avery’s surgical work is exceptional!

Excellent . Excellent. This was my second visit in six months. Developed a De Quervain tenosynovitis in Jan. Dr. Avery adminstered a cortisone shot then, the relief lasted six month. I chose to get another shot as the pain recurred, before opting for a procedure whi h he explained to me in full detail. Dr. Avery is always very professional, informative, reassuring. and pleasant to interact with..it is always a plus to deal with a physician who has great bedside manners, beside medical knowledge and expertise. Highly recommen... read more
