Dr. Avery is passionate, caring, consistent with his care and shows it. Every visit with him and his team is filled with positive energy, good vibes, and lots of humor. He's kind and patient. He has been a huge part of my healing with not one but two replacements and he's the best at what he does. I have recommended his works and will continue to do so to anyone that's worried or concerned about replacements. Dr. Avery is honest and will not sugar-coat the truth.
During my visit, while describing the level of pain and difficulty my knee is causing me, I started to tear up. I have never seen a doctor react the way that he did. He full on panicked and told me "he doesn't do crying" the doctor shadowing him and the PA giggled at his response and found me tissues. He is a medical doctor for whom patients come to to treat their ailments which obviously cause pain. Appreciated the thoughtful but quick diagnosis and non-invasive treatment for hip pain. Feeling better already.
Patient, listened to me and spent more than 3-5 minutes with me in contrast to other docs. Excellent bedside manner and saves me a visit by addressing another shoulder issue I had. He treated me for hip bursitis and was excellent!
Dr. Avery is a skilled diagnostician and surgeon, and he has a wonderful bedside manner and patience to answer questions at every visit and even before surgery.

I went there for a third opinion on my knee pain, while I had an idea of what was wrong and what I needed to do and follow up on, I felt that he actually listened to me and cared about my issue, he was gentle when assessing the pain, which was a welcome change, since other doctors are quite rough while diagnosing. He also offered follow up if I felt that it wasn’t getting better and didn’t rush to offer a surgery, will definitely come back with him if I have another similar issue.

I haven’t had a lot of luck lately with doctors, and I was really impressed with how down to earth and kind he was, while still being thorough with my issue.
