If I could give this practice a zero, I would. Be warned, Dr. Ashley almost killed our female bulldog by leaving a puppy inside her after a c-section he performed. We received horrible treatment after the pup was found and another emergency surgery had to be performed. No apology, no concern, no reimbursement for his mistake. Find a vet that cares and stands behind their work!!

We had a fur baby emergency today and I can not recommend the staff at Animal Clinic East enough! They truly went above and beyond. They were fully booked with appointments, but told us to bring our girl in. Despite the packed schedule, our fur baby was seen and taken care of immediately! I had to bring my sick parakeet in from out of town because I couldn’t find anyone to see her on a holiday back home. Dr. Ashley and his staff were friendly and kind, the facility was clean and bright, and I left feeling well-informed and prepared to take care of my bird through the rest of my stay in Chattanooga. After a day and a half she was already looking and feeling so much better. The fees were reasonable, too. Highly recommend for exotic pets!
An excellent veterinary clinic with caring personal. They have the facilities to do many tests that my local country veterinary does not and is important to me such as complete blood work on site and x-rays if needed. Also their hours of operation are extensive. My two older dogs(girls) are seeing Dr. Zanaty and the oldest(13 years 3 months) receives acupuncture which is a wonderful complement to the anti-inflammatory medications she takes. We have taken our three (3) dogs to Animal Clinic East since moving to Chattanooga in 2009. Dr. Pilkington, by far, is the most caring, understanding and knowledgeable Vet we have ever known. This vet spreads outright incorrect information and then blocks you when you attempt to correct them. Incredibly unprofessional. You should be able to trust vets to give you correct information, but clearly that's too much to ask from this vet clinic. STOP SPREADING MYTHS! Own up when you are wrong. You spread this lie to the public and then told me to talk to the news channel that reported it if I had a problem with your information before blocking me. Poorly done.
