If I could give no stars I would. I was debating if I was going to share my horrible experience. Im a first time homebuyer. Since it's a hot seller's market homes are going quick. Well I found a new construction home 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms for $219,000. I offered $219,000 and it was accepted. I went through Quicken Loans and went with an fha program. This place is a train wreck. If you like condescending attitudes , lack of knowledge or concern, and elevated blood pressure, then by all means , choose Amrock. I closed on a refi through rocket mortgage with Amrock. Never ever again. They could not even answer simple questions. A joke of a company.

We had our house appraise 2 years ago, and it came back 165,00 for a refinance. We decided to refinance this year because rates would be cut in half, so we went through Rocket Motgage a 2nd time. Amrock conducted the appraisal and came back with $140,00, 20k less than 2 years ago! My neighbor is going through the same process with Rocket Mortgage, and had their house appraised 2 weeks before us. I am appalled as to the way I have been treated by Quicken Loans Mortgage Company (Rocket Mortgage) and Amrock Inc Title Company (a subsidary of Rocket Mortgage). I refinanced 2 properties with Quicken Loans, with the refinancing completed in October 2020. These 2 properties have still not been recorded with the County Recorders Office as of May 2021. HORRIBLE COMPANY! We had to use this company through Quicken Loans not by choice. First thing we scheduled an appraisal and the guy showed and spent about 15 minutes total going through the house and then lowballed the house by $50k under what the realtors were suggesting so not happy about wasting $525 for a garbage appraisal. Second the closing agent couldn’t make up her mind what time would be best for them to close. Apparently it’s not what the best time for you it’s more along the line of when it’s best for them. I have had only 2 experiences with Amrock. 1) Closing and 2) Appraisal. The Bad Appraisal. We have had 3 appraisals. The First 2 came back matching my house type and the market price of the comparable homes that were just like mine, in the same neighborhood. My neighborhood is beautiful and well kept. The Thir appraisal, in the last 30 days, on my 1500 SF, 3 stories, 3bd-2b, parking was compared to houses that were 40 blocks away in a neighborhood I wouldn't even drive thru and 1011 SF with 2 bd and 1 b. The process was very streamlined with all individuals that worked with us. You guys are the best. I had the pleasure of working with Amanda Peterson. She was phenomenal. Always kept me updated with status and requirements on my end. Closing went without any problems. Paid my down payment over the phone and was done effortlessly. Amrock is highly recommended.

Warning they hire crooks to do the appraisals...Like Ausherman Bros real estate, thay low ball you and david j coletta tries to make to deal go bad to charge more to reinspect... Who would think a steel fire door on a 1958 made house would even work...I do not think so... But that is what he put down I needed....I got charged and got scrap paper in return...
