Very, very, poor service! They really have no idea what they are doing. Everytime we turned something in they changed what they wanted. Home we were buying was inherited from another family member and they continued to ask for more and more. Even wanting 50 years of former title info. Just very poor knowledge and service!! Dont use them, we ended up using our attorney for whole process since he had to prepare so many documents for them to begin with!@@
Amrock did not get the correct pay off amount from my previous lender. They underpaid over $2. Now I have two mortgages for the same property, and the pay off amount in floating around somewhere. Meanwhile the interest, late fees and others fees keep adding up at the old lender. I also had to come up with an additional $ 800 after one month of closing the loan. Mess is still not settled. This is actually a Zero Star review. We settled on 10/2/2020. When we contacted Quicken after the 3 day period as to why $$ had not been released, we were told there was a mechanics lien on our home (not true). After multiple calls and emails on our part the issue was finally resolved. There NEVER had been a lien on the property as verified by the County Clerk. $$ was finally released 10/13. This delay caused ripple effect. We now have approximately $5k in refunds that we are waiting on. Love Quicken. Hope they find another ... read more
The WORST appraisal service I have ever seen. I have been in real estate for 36 years and ONLY one other time have I had to contend with a low appraisal other than my OWN PERSONAL ONE with this company. I even sent in comps to prove my findings but nothing was adjusted. I don't understand why Quicken has a business relationship with this company when you read the reviews and a LOT of people have the same complaint as myself. Not impressed. They messed up scheduling the closing / the notary coming to my home. One notary was informed the appointment was canceled (she was already on her way). The notaries (independent contractors) were both grat though. It was a bit of a mess, but it worked out in the end.
We attempted a refinance through Quicken Loans and was forced to use Amrock for appraisal and title services. We received a request to appraise the same day we applied. I called our appraiser and left a message. I received an email in reply to my call telling me I had to allow them to perform the appraisal within three days because it was due by the fourth. Didn't send check to my lender as promised. Said usps doesnt give tracking numbers for mail sent. Lies is all you will get from this company
Coming from someone who knows how touchy property appraisers can be regarding certain topics, this company is undoubtedly the worst. They only work with customers directly tied to a transaction with Quicken/Rocket mortgage, therefore when we had to get an appraisal transferred, they are unwilling to complete the transaction in any way shape or form. The person I dealt with couldn't even read a deed correctly; she is a senior specialist who in my opinion should be sent back to an internship. Once she made up her mind she was adamant and refused to allow the process to go ahead. Fortunately a lawyer and another title and closing company. Quicken Loans should change partners
