Terrible company. Took a month to get appraisal back for home purchase. Delayed closing. Unapologetic, rude, condescending, and willing to hide information from clients. CLOSE THEM DOWN! DO NOT ISE THEIR SERVICES!
I spoke to 5 people in regards to the documents that I need for closing. Amrock is a disappointing company to work with. No one seems to know what's going on and, they are glad to tell you they will give you an answer between 24 to 48 hours. Rest assured that you WILL waste your time dealing with them.

This company is useless. Cannot even get an appraiser assigned. They do not even speak to appraisal companies. They send out an email and hold their breath. Blowing closing dates on an easy loan. The brutal part is that Rocket Mortgage actually uses this garbage company

Very difficult to work with. Would not report our house as a 3 bedroom even though that’s how it’s officially on record with my city. Insisted on it being a 2 bedroom with office, thereby nulling and voiding any chance of going through with my refinance. Now I have a balloon mortgage payment to make. Would not help us, even with proof from the city. Every other aporaisal we’ve ever had reported us as a 3 bedroom. I don’t understand their unwillingness to correct this issue. Very unprofessional. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I was so nervous about using Amrock after reading the reviews but, thankfully, I had a great experience! From beginning to end, the process was smooth. The appraisal actually came in higher than I expected; the closing was scheduled and took place on that date; the notary came to my house and was friendly and professional; I received my funds the same day that they were released! I would definitely use them again.

AMROCK’s notary was a no show at our closing. We waited almost an hour and a half and decided to leave. When we got home 20 mins later, the closing notary wanted to know where we were. I called the mortgage company and AMROCK. They kept dangling a gift certificate if we went with them. I was told by our new closer that everyone gets $100. I guess by us complaining to the mortgage company, we got a $50 gift card. Regardless, the worst part of all of this was the reschedule. I will never recommend Amrock Inc. for closing. I had a very bad experience while refinancing. All the money for closing was available but they delayed closing for three weeks! Just to skim off the interest on the refinance amount. Avoid them if you cam.
