We purchased a house from a family member in July 2021 using Rocket and Amrock. Well we decided to do a refi in April of this year. On the Rocket side everything went ok. Amrock however, never changed the title / deed to my name. It was still in the previous owner. We closed the refi on April 29 2022 and was under the impression everything was fine. It wasn't until I started calling a week later when I noticed my previous mortgage had not been paid yet. Numerous calls to Amrock yielded either no return call or "I don't know"... read more

I dealt with a gentleman name Tye. PROFESSIONAL with personality who treated me as I was his only customer. He kept ** me informed with email - after he introduced himself - and answered the phone the first ring when I called him with a question and a little more of a explanation that one cant do through email. He told there should be no problem with my copy of my POA (which is all I had) and that there was a new law in ********** that made it easier in ********** to refi my home which I knew nothing about. Amrock, **** (Rocket Mortgage) Is one of the best groups I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. All questions were answered fully, completely and to my satisfaction. They were prompt and friendly. They refinanced my home loan when no one else would, including the finance company who held my loan. My loan was in good standing with no late payments. I signed my closing on 3/11 with rocket mortgage on 3/15 I'm informed all is good with it and funding will be completed electronically today. Several hours latter Amrock calls me to tell me that they can't do my closing now because of owed taxes. I ask them are those the taxes in the refinance package that we took care of last month. I am then informed that it is but that they can't fund anything until they are paid (which is what they are supposed to be doing). It has been 4 months and they didnt record my deed. Apparently it wasnt executed correctly and I was never notified! During the closing process, they constantly messed up transfer documents. This deed they resent, is also incorrect! Their employees also dont take responsibility for their mistakes either. Highly disappointed with them. Rocket Mortgage needs a new title company! 0 stars.

The Amrock Title and ***************** did not contact me to advised the escrow was not enough to pay the property taxes. They allowed me to receive a delinquent notice from the State for my property taxes. This could have be solved if Amrock was proactive to solve the problem. The Customer should NOT receive a delinquent notice when it is Amrock's error.I have a delinquent status under my name because Amrock did not handle the business correctly. I recently refinanced my home with Amrock/ Rocket mortgage and they could not have been any better. The staff I dealt with was the most polite, knowledgeable, helpful, personable group of people you could ask for. They were so accommodating and made the whole process beyond easy.
