Amerigas customer service is horrible. We have been a customer for 18 years and they treat us like we are doing them a favor by being a customer. The latest is the final straw. We will be switching to another company. I don't know how we have stayed with them so long. In the beginning they were relatively good. We were told that we would not have to pay a tank rental charge if we purchased gas every year. They are a HORRIBLE gas company and I would urge anyone to NEVER do business with them. I have a tank I have been trying to get them to pick up after closing my account in January 2021 and I am still waiting after 5 phone calls in last3 months. I am planning to scrap the tank if they do not pick it up by May 15th. So disheartening that they are a Troy, Ohio business.

Customer service was terrible and could not answer simple questions. I was given a 1-800 number by their customer service agent that took me to an insurance sales line. I called back 2 additional times and my questions were never answered. Their company president should be aware or at least shown their reviews and make some changes in how they treat their customer or they will start losing them.

I have been trying to get them to pick up their tank from the side of my house for months. Every time I call I'm told I am on the schedule for this day and that day comes and goes and I still have a tank sitting on the side of my house killing my grass.

Ordered gas from Amerigas, charged me for 200gals. before they delivered any gas and an inspection fee. Told them to cancel my order.Had to call numerous times for a refund finally they sent me a check after I contacted my bank. Then about a month later they charged my credit card again for another $469.52. Said that they were not going to give a refund. Contacted my bank again. If you check their customer reviews it is 1.02 with 499 reviews.

Can’t even schedule an appointment for me to be added as a new customer. No lie, they told me they have no availability. Good grief

I am going to start by saying i receive scheduled deliveries for my stove, two times a year. Since August of 2020, I have had an issue of running out 4 times. When I call Fallsburg gas, a part of Amerigas, it takes anywhere from 1/2 hour to 1 and 12 hours to get through. When you finally get through, you are being told there couldn't be a problem. They deliver gas. and my last delivery in December 2020, ran out February, 2021. this time it took 5 phone calls and they delivered. Because the tank was empty, I was told the tech... read more

This is the company from Hell. Horrible service! If you want to throw money away and pull your hair out this is the company for you. There was a 70% full tank of gas, told them I smelled gas. They locked it. 50% of the gas leaked out and I had an HVAC person come out. They sprayed it and could see bubbles, and pictures were taken. The HVAC person said the bonnet was leaking.
