Absolutely horrible service, we have been out of gas for three days and on the phone with them and promised that someone would be out to fill the tank and no one ever shows up. Today a gas truck pulls down the street and goes by my neighbor come to find out they went to the wrong house and refuse to come back.
I changed from Amerigas to Nicor Gas several years ago and am still trying to get the Amerigas propane tank off my property. After contacting the Amerigas branch at 25224 W. Rt-30, Plainfield, IL numerous times, a customer service rep finally told me it was dangerous to remove the tank, therefore I have to contract the work myself. We have been receiving propane delivery for ten years at the same location. Since Amerigas bought out other local suppliers, we no longer have a local number to call for service. At the beginning of the month, we contacted Amerigas to have our tank refilled. We received a text message from Amerigas saying there was "a problem with our property" and the order could not be delivered. I am a loyal customer on autofill with Amerigas. Twice this month (Jan. 2022) they failed to correctly monitor our tank. The beginning of the month I had to call and let them know we were at 5 percent. They barely made it in time before we ran out. The second time was on Jan. 30, 2022. Again we called to let them know our tank had run out of gas. Could not reach anyone local and was forwarded to national lines. Extortion. Poor Customer Service for deliveries ISSUES. They can not provide service details for when a late delivery will be fulfilled. It seems that customer service can only pass on expedited delivery requests to the delivery department. They will tell you what you want to hear. Propane was ordered over 10 days ago. This review is for Amerigas home propane delivery. This company is horrible! They do not deliver their propane on schedule leaving the customer almost without propane. There is no customer service! When you call about your delivery status, you speak to someone in another country and they always give you the wrong information. I’m really not sure how they stay in business!
If I could give it negative stars I would. I have been trying since August to get them to pick up their empty tank. They tell me over the phone they are coming and give me a day and date but never show up. I drove to 3 locations to speak in person and each location was closed and building looked liked it had not been used in months. Logo was still on building, tanks in back behind a fence. Worst company ever, WORST!!
Worst company ever! No live person to talk to, out of gas for a week after it was promised and promised, cost is way too high.
We have been out of gas for 4 days! We have called every day and called before when we were getting low on gas. We have been on a plan where they would come and fill our gas tank without calling. We have been with this company for over 30 years and NEVER had this issue. I am terribly disappointed in this company and am looking for another gas company to do business with....This is ridiculous!!
