History, my delivery guy shows up last Thru, got within 60 feet of my tank but because my driveway is on a hill the truck was spinning the rear tires so he couldn't get up the hill. He never checked my tank level, never tried to reach the tank with the hose, just said that if I go get salt and make it so he can get up my drive he or someone would be back tomorrow. This just happened a few hours ago so the memory is fresh. We an out of gas overnight so the furnace shut off. It was -23 degrees outside this morning when wee woke up and 46 degrees in the house. Their so-called customer service told me they'd send someone within the next week and I explained the situation again about cold and freezing pipes. I have been a customer of Amerigas for several years. Suddenly the past 6 months, I’m constantly having to call for my “automatic delivery”. It has taken almost a month for it to be delivered because the “time frame for your automatic delivery has expired”. What does that mean? We've been customers for 30 years on their automatic refill plan our tank went empty we were without any souce of heat for 5 days in below freezing weather here in North Idaho Jan. 21 - 26th 2022. I called everyday could only get their call center in Cleveland Ohio, finally they said all the drivers in our area were out sick, we drove by their office here it was all boarded up and said do not knock on the door !! Out of gas for two days and counting. I've been on the phone with eight different people at Amerigas over the last two days, each time having to put up with their annoying phone menu that assures me they have made changes to improve customer service. About to start the third night with no propane and no heat, despite three people (including a supervisor) assuring me that truck was on the way. How do these people stay in business?
This company does nothing but lie to its customers. We ran out of gas 10 days before Christmas. I ordered gas via their call center. I was told it would be delivered within 7 days. I started checking in at the 5, 6, 7, and 8 day mark and was told it would be delivered the next day which never happened. The call center is outsourced to another country, and they lie and say they are in "Ohio". They hang up on you or keep you on hold for over an hour if they don't like what you are saying. Amerigas is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I have been trying to reach someone in customer service to ask about an overcharge. This has gone on for 3 weeks, while they just keep billing me. I have asked my calls to be escalated to a supervisor multiple times and they just put me on hold forever. I need a clear explanation why I was billed over $600 in 1 month when I don't even live at that home. i believe I've been over billed and ripped off.
We have been with Amerigas for the last 6 years . We pay our bill the driver puts on our front door immediately and we owe them nothing . A blizzard is on the way and we are on auto fill . The driver has skipped us regularly for the last 6 months . We have to check our tank ourselves and call . Called Wednesday 1/26/22 to get filled told would be filled within 24 hours. One week later no propane, hot water or heat. Have newborn and a 2 year old. Called today 2/2/22 driver was 15 minutes away and turned to go home.Do not recommend using them if anyone has a tank in the ground dig it up and go with someone else. Still currently on the phone waiting for a supervisor to answer
