If I could give zero stars I would. This Company is absolutely TERRIBLE. I used to be able to speak to someone locally and now I have to speak to someone across the country or someone who barley speaks English. I spoke to someone different every single day this week and every person I spoke to gave me a different answer to my problem that by the way was never fixed. Avoid this company if you can!

My Complaint is about delivery. They have hired incompetent drivers who do not know how to fill the tanks properly - I have a 500 gallon tank and they are not suppose to fill it above 80% because it is pressurised - so they send an incompetent driver who sprays the gas into the air to fill it to 100% - I told him to stop because I have to pay for the gas he spewing in my back yard to over fill the tank - after he left I filed a complaint with Amerigas over the phone then went out to take a picture of the gage showing it was ... read more

What happened to Amerigas? We had service from them for six years without any issues, but this year, while they have promised multiple times to come and fill our tank, they have not followed through. Then they sent us a bill, saying that they had come, even though they had not. Now we are trying to get them to come get their empty tank so that we can find a new company, but they haven't come to pick it up. It's very disappointing and frustrating. I received a delivery from Amerigas last night at 930pm. Yes pm. The gas is high I know due to the Ukrainian conflict, but, when I looked at my delivery receipt it was $4.76.9 per gallon. I looked on the internet for the price of propane, $2.88 in my area. I called 7 propane companies in the area, their prices from 2.43 to 2.95. I am so upset. Called Amerigas, they dropped it one dollar a gallon. From what I can tell they are price gouging. I have contacted our Attorney General to see what I can do.

Amerigas Propane has the worst service I have ever experienced. GO ANYWHERE ELSE! This company does not care how long you have to wait, if you have no heat or hot water. They are full of empty promises. They do not deliver when they say. This business is a total JOKE. They literally promise the truck is on the way and never show up. I paid for my propane and waited for 2 weeks for the delivery. They are a terrible company I had service with them in Coloraado. I sold the property and canceled my service and continued to charge me. I emailed several times. Called and wrote in the bills they kept sending me. They could get it. Only person I could get a hold of was a “customer service” person that I could barely understand who just kept telling me I owed this and jf I paid today they would cancel the late fees and call off the collection agency. One, I wish there was an option to not give this company any stars - this company sucks!!! I have some kind of issue every time I need my tank refilled. We are now on auto deliveries, and my delivery is scheduled in a couple of days, but we have no gas!!! The percentage that their computer is stating is 19% and we have zero!!! Our hot water, oven, dishwasher, etc., run on gas. I call only to be told that I will have an emergency fee charged and delivery will be w/in 24 hours. Amerigas is absolutely terrible. Never, never use Amerigas. Their business and customer service is absolutely terrible. They need a negative rating. I regret switching over to Amerigas. I signed up for an account with them in November 2021. I set up an order on November 9, 2021 to have propane delivered. At the beginning of January I still had not received a delivery. Having issues getting gas rejoined back up. They locked the tank due to propane levels and now it’s been a week with no heat. We’ve called everyday we’re told we were on the schedule for today and now finding out they never had us down. They’ve been lying about appointment times and to top it off when they originally delivered there was someone home to do the leak check and he never even knocked. I’m tired of fighting with them. I have two small children in my house and no heat.
