Worst service ever! They "schedule" a delivery date dont show up i call reschedule still nothing i guess I should be happy i wasn't robbed at gunpoint

Overpriced compared to local supplier's . New orderi g system is complex. Unfriendly and inefficient. Long time customers over 20 years. New ownership has taken the simplest requests for fills overly difficult. Uninformed customer reps . Cancel your service. Poor quality customer help and services. Multiple phone numbers that provide little customer help.

The guys that deliver our propane are great however that is the end of any kind of customer service that you'll get from AmeriGas. I had a terrible time getting a refill. No one answers the phone. I have a credit with AmeriGas of $348.90 for overpayment and my calls to billing are being answered by a non English speaking representative on a phone line that keeps breaking up. Have used AmeriGas for 35 years, on 3 homes in SpringHill Fl. I have never had an issue until now. I run out of gas, Feb 8th, only used for cooking. I schedule delivery. in 2 weeks. I say sooner, they say $ 200.00 in 5 days! I don't have $ 200.00. I get home note on front door call office. Next day or 2, I get enough time to call and I'm told I now incurred another $ 200.00 charge for not being home. My 24 yr son home all day. No one from AmeriGas called to say they were there. AmeriGas is the worst company to use for Propane. Unreliable deliveries even if you are auto fill service. Company failed to deliver propane during one of the coldest winters in Ohio. Had to wait on hold for hours with customer service. Sometimes call would get rerouted and sometimes call would just get dropped. Had to look up different phone numbers just to get through to someone to talk to about issues. My house was so cold that I had to stay with a friend all the time worrying that my pipes would freeze. Warning: this company takes advantage of the rural elderly. They came to my parent's home with "only 100 gallons" and returned on Jan 2 to finish the job. Charged for both and billed them for tank rent (25yo tank) given that Jan 2 was in the new year. Keep an eye on this business. Dr. K***** UVA Health

This is a horrible company, we were months without propane last winter, made several calls with no results. My elderly mother in law , that was on the auto fill program was several weeks without propane and she lives a mile from the shop. The price is way higher then anyone else, service is terrible. We cancelled our service with them last October and we still have not gotten anyone to pick up our tank after multiple calls. We live in the service zone for the shop in Cambridge Ohio. This company has by far the worst customer service I have ever received. I have had nothing but issues with this company. On the last encounter, I called and scheduled and appointment to have my tank refilled. They advised they would be there by 04/28/22, which was two weeks out. During my contact with the company, I advised them that I was requesting a call when they were enroute to ensure my dogs were put away. They advised they would in fact call when enroute. I asked Amerigas to remove their 250 gallon propane tank from the yard of my new house, as I will go into contract with another provider. Amerigas did remove the tank, and left all the disconnected gas lines and fittings wide open. In a day insects moved into the line, carried mud in, and their eggs already hatched inside of my lines by the time I got there. Amerigas clearly doesn't care about treating right the very equipmemt they work with. Never mind past and potential future customers. I would never do business with them... read more
