Horrible horrible company. You can't reach anyone who has knowledge in the company. We have been told we would be contacted by a supervisor and no one ever calls. There is no local person to talk to. Amerigas used to be a good company but now it is terrible.

A HORRIBLE COMPANY!! THEY ARE IN BUSINESS TO RIP YOU OFF!! We bought our new house which the tank was owned by Amerigas, we made our 1st order and was TRIPLE charged within 3 months!! While trying to get customer service to handle this which NEVER happened it went to COLLECTIONS! WE WILL REMOVE THIS TANK AND BE THEIR WORST NIGHTMARE IF THEY DONT RESOLVE THIS ISSUE IMMEDIATELY! MY ADVICE..RUN THE OTHER WAY AND NEVER LOOK BACK!

I am writing to complain about poor service response from Amerigas. I signed on with them in 2014 when we could speak directly to a person in local office about propane issues abs deliveries. They closed that office 2019 and once they went national and your calls or inquiries went to national service center when I would order propane despite the fact that we had deliveries to our rural home with no problems for 5 years now after the fact when I called they said they couldn’t find me. I have contacted the Macon GA office 5 times i the last year, asking them to remove their tank from my home. after each call, I have a scheduled pick up date and they NEVER have shown to get the tank.

Every 6ish months i have to call and ask them to please make sure they call me day before. I have dogs and a locked gate so i need to make arrangements to get everyone set up. The driver says he gets his schedule same day the customer support say they get to see their schedule so who is lying? Im now down to below 10% and have missed him twice because of same day calling. I have no idea what company to switch to but am so tired of this.

Propane suppliers are fundamentally utility providers for many of us. When I moved into my new home Amerigas was the contractor to fill my propane tank. The tank was empty, and the soonest they said they would be able to come fill it was three weeks away. That is not much different than the electric company telling you that it will be three weeks before they can turn on the electricity at your house. Cooking food, hot water all depended on propane. I am on automatic delivery, which used to be every three months but they switched over to every six months. Well it’s been six months and I ended up running out of propane in my tank. I went online and filled out that my current levels were 0% and was then placed on an expedited 1 day delivery. This is the worst company /customer service I have ever dealt with. I used to use ENERGY NORTH, which was purchased by Amerigas. Since then, the customer service and responsiveness has gone in the shitter. I called last week at around 15%. They gave me a delivery date of June 2nd. June 2nd comes. I wait all day. Poor Billing service, Poor Refund service for credit .Poor response for tank pick up. Bill has never been correct for over 3 yrs . We are due a 690 dollar refund and its been over a month and nothing yet. Took over three months to pick up tank once account was closed.
