AmeriGas bought out our local propane supplier, and the service has been horrible. The gauge on our tank was broken and never fixed after being reported. I called to cancel the service. They picked our tank up, but they did not cap the lines as they were supposed to. They scheduled a man appointment to come back and cap the line, but they never showed up to do it. If I could rate this company negative stars I most definitely would. Price gouging their customers and horrible customer service. I had been a customer for 20+ years and was paying over $1.00 per gallon more than what the local companies were charging. When I called and talked to the representative on several occasions I was treated with such disrespect. I was told that not all customers get the same pricing and it depends on your usage which I believe is very dishonest. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

If I could give them a rating of minus 10 stars I would! They never showed up to fill my tank and I ran out of propane in December. So I bought my own tank and told them to come and get theirs out of my yard. Finally 7 months later they finally show up and then send me a bill for $150 for picking up their own tank! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH AMERIGAS!

How is this company still in business, and why is not investigated?! They have the worse customer service ("Experienced Customer Advocates"), they cannot help you with ANYTHING, they only can listen to your complaints and make notes in the system for whatever department the complaint is about. Terrible service! Called and requested they only fill one tank. They filled both tanks which cost $600. I am using it to bbq in the summer! Don’t need $600 worth of propane. When they filled the tanks they put a lock on so we can’t use it. They said we needed to be there when they delivered. They NEVER told us we had to be home!! When we talked to the person about only filling one tank he did not say to be home. Now they want to charge $100 to come out and unlock the tank. Horrible service ! we sign a contract for delivery every 2nd Thursday. They are never with a schedule. After calls, messages they are answering that we need some emergency delivery. If i can I can gave them -0 star.

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with in 45 years. I can't believe they are still in business. I have missed 5 days of work my nephews birthday. And here I sit on my birthday waiting for propain that was promised to me and I get no phone calls nothing. I have a. Handicap dad. That. Had not showered In A week and a half. If I could give it a 0 rating I would. 1 is too good for them. An F for failure is what I submit. This company has no integrity, and the customer service is awful. They clearly don't speak to each other and read off a prepared script. I have never been so upset with a company that I had to file a complaint with BBB. If I could rate as a zero I would. We were customers for over 20 years-paying a yearly tank rental. The last 5 years of rental, the gauge on the tank had been broken-which resulted in running out of propane at random times. We notified them countless times & requested it to be fixed-they refused. We ran out of propane AGAIN on Dec 12, 2021when it was cold & rainy and everyone was ill-they wanted to charge me emergency delivery fees and after hour fees to deliver.
