Wish I could give negative stars. Horrible since they closed our local office. Have been blatantly lied to on the phone each time we call. We have been given many different stories as to why our contract has not been executed. We have been calling about it for 6 weeks and each time we talk to someone we are told something different. Have to constantly call to get anything done or fixed. Was supposedly speaking with a "supervisor" today and was hung up on. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!
I only gave a star rating because I could not post this if I did not rate them but they would get a negative rating if possible. I received a delivery in October 2020, and the next delivery was in April 2021. I was then charged for a third delivery in May 2021, which did not happen. I have called so many times to try to talk to someone about this and I just keep getting a promise someone will call me back. On July 1st my wife said we have no hot water. I tried to light the pilot to the water heater and found out that Amerigas cut off our gas. I called Saturday 7/2/2022 and CSR said someone would call or contact us. We never heard from Amerigas and ended up buying and installing an electric water heater as we were without hot water. We still don't know why they cut our gas off as we have been a good customer for almost 20 years and are on automatic bill pay. They also charged us $99.00 for no apparent reason. I had purchased a vacant cabin with a propane tank. This is a weekend home for us. We have the mail routed to our primary home. The house had been vacant 5 years before we purchased it. Amerigas had left multiple letters for us to register an account with them (after we purchased the property) or they would be removing the tank from the property. So I called and set up an account. Horrible customer service, been without gas 3 weeks now due to their broken equipment, they no showed by repair appt then showed up another day and charged me 300 dollars bc no one was home. Just awful. Tank still not fixed, different excuse and no answers each time I call. STAY AWAY IF YOU HAVE OTHER OPTIONS
This company is a scam! They take credit card info before anything then hide fees they say don’t exist and when called upon the price discrepancy deny everything. If I could leave a zero star review I would.
Stay away from Ameria Gas For the last 6months we have been trying to get a billing error corrected. What a nightmare. All we get is a lot of talk and no action. After I told them I am not paying another dime until the issue is resolved, they went and took out 462.00 dollars out of my checking account. This is a combination/complaint AND review of Amerigas Propane. I tried without success to reach Hugh Gallagher or Mark Holloway as I believe these are the employees that dropped the ball. My husband worked for Amerigas Propane as a Regional Logistics Manager in part for over 38 years and just retired in Jan 2022. I just want it to be known that he gave that company his ALL. We had been building a house for 2 years and called Amerigas to install our tank 4 months before scheduled completion. The tank was installed in an incorrect location—directly outside our dining room window. We called to ask them to move it. My contractor called multiple times. I called multiple times.
