We asked them to come pick up their tank and then we get a back bill for tank rental for last year. First time we have seen the bill and it’s due in three days! They still haven’t picked up the tank, stay away from them

I closed my account with America gas and moved from the place I was renting that had their tank and now they have sent me to collection for $235 that I do not owe. This company has done this to my mother and a co-worker. For me to know that many people with the same complaint is outrageous!!!!
I have written one star reviews for Amerigas, many of them. Recently however things have improved dramatically. It used to take weeks to get a delivery, IF I could get one. Now it only takes a few days. They are also offering promotions to make it easier to pay and giving a discount. Before it appeared that they weren't even trying, but now they are trying and succeeding. If they can keep this up they will eventually overcome all those terrible reviews.
AmeriGas practices price gouging. Since November of 2020, they would bill us $.10 more a gallon than shown of the delivery slip, when billed 1 or 2 days after delivery. This has created late fees due to the fact that I refuse to pay an unreasonable bill. I have tried to resolve this situation many times and have not had any response from the company.
Worst company and customer server I've dealt with in a long time. I canceled my service in January and had to call multiple times to force them to pickup my rental tank. Took 9 month for the tank pickup. Customer rep told me they would pro rate tank rental back to cancel date. BUT bill shows up and they did not pro rate as promised. Again took multiple calls to customer service long hold while they reviewed my account each time to finally get them to pro rate back to cancel date. 7/28/2022 I ordered one hundred (100) gallons of propane In March 2022, to be delivered to my home in Grand Junction, MI but instead, the driver put a lock on my propane tank. I have contacted the Amerigas offices in Hartford, Michigan on multiple occasions and as well as the corporate office in King of Prussia, PA on numerous occasions asking for assistance and help in getting an appointment for a technician to remove the lock. This company is the worst company i have ever dealt with, they never come on time to refill the tank, even when you give a week in advance refill request , I've been left several times without gas for several weeks,and one occasion they never knocked on my door instead locked my propane tank and was told I wouldn't have any one at my house for another 2 weeks, very unreliable, this company needs to be out of service, please if you are considering using propane for your house I express to you do not do it especially if this i... read more
Zero. We had them for years. Price increases. Cancelled Amerigas last August. They finally picked up tank the end of May. Now we are being billed for tank rental from last Sept 2021 to now. No one responds to my calls. Probably made 15 or more calls in the last 9 months.
