We've used Amerigas for years and years. Something happened a couple of years ago. There is no one local you can now call. When I call, I'm put into a call center and NO ONE can put me through to a supervisor. The service is TERRIBLE and there is literally no where to turn. We will be leaving Amerigas as soon as we get set up with a new company.
I have dealt with a lot of companies with issues I am 70 years old and I've never in my life experienced the no customer service from AmeriGas, talk with customer service try to reach a manager insisted on speaking to a manager The customer service rep hung up, I just will be damned
Terrible company to do business with. I was enrolled in auto delivery and their pre-buy agreement. After the first delivery I received an invoice showing my new balance. A month later I got a past due notice. After a 2 hour wait to talk with someone, I explained that I could not be late because I had pre-paid. This went on for 4 months. I am a customer I had no issues with ********* ***who I've had for several years until Amerigas took over the company and since then I have had nothing but issues. I am 76 years old and I am also on hospice cause of my cancer and I have never had to deal with no propane no heat and no way to cook in the 23 years I've lived here. After the holiday weekend and several offices involved I finally received my propane that was supposed to been delivered on the 12/30/22 it is now the 1/3/23. the following offices involved were Hospice, Assembly woman of district 100, BBB and Sullivan County Heap dept.
God help whoever makes the mistake of signing up with these guys. They’ve lied about there arrival time (on practically every fill up), they’ve shorted us propane, they supply damaged tanks that don’t fill up past 80%, and they will blame you for not calling them sooner every time they screw up. No accountability and no professionalism. If you want to leave or change companies they’ll charge you hundreds for coming to take their tank back. Someone needs to do something. Haven’t had heating in days!
This is the worse company ever.. yes I am to blame for my bill being behind.. I have called numerous times trying to get assistance with my bill.. I have called other organizations trying to get help as well but there is no help for propane gas.. Amerigas willingly put my disabled brother-in-law under significant risk by not fulfilling their basic service obligations. My brother-in-law is a customer for over 2 years with no delinquencies. But somehow his auto delivery for LP stopped for unknown reasons that have yet been explained by Amerigas. Buyer Beware - No phone number or staff to speak to - I purchased a summer camp and the tank on the property was Amerigas, we continued with them as it was easier. We were always on auto delivery for YEARS - we stopped to check on our camp on 12/27/2022 and the tank was empty, pipes frozen and burst.. call them, end up on the phone with a Pilipino call center, who says our account is on "will call", we asked how that happened we never changed it , they say, sorry there are no notes , we ask to speak to someone local they say... read more
Placed an order over 3 weeks ago… was given a 1 week delivery window… never showed. After multiple calls & promises to deliver, still a no show. Terrible company.
