Amerigas is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They is no customer service, even the supervisors or customer advocates dont help. Most agents just hang up on you or just leave you on hold for 30 min. Until you are disconnected. I opened an account, and after a week was still not contacted, or serviced. I called daily and customer service did nothing, they made appointments and no one showed up. Supervisors did the same thing. Absolutely the worst company , go somewhere else. I am. If i could give them a zero i would.

do not know how this company stays in business. They have no idea what they are doing. I have had a billing discrepancy since November 2022 and have called repeatedly to clear up. They keep saying they are adjusting the bill and never do and now they sent me to collections. I only used them because they had the best price for propane at the time. The savings isn’t worth the billing headache I continue to have. Don’t order from them if u know what’s good for you.

Horrible company, were charging almost $1 per gallon higher than competing companies, I changed to another propane supplier and asked them on December 18th to remove their tank for which they were also overcharging me. Have sent several followup emails, and called their Customer Service line, still no pickup of the old tank three months later. What a ripoff!! I am full time off grid (mostly) female RVer. I couldn't understand why I kept running out of propane. I was in the Manistee Forest in Michigan at temps of -10. I could have froze to death I had 3 propane tanks and thinking I had 3 full tanks. I didn't. I had 3 half full tanks because I "exchanged" a tank instead of "refilling" a tank. A big difference they don't tell you about. An exchange you only get a 1/2 full tank. A refill at 1/4 to 1/2 the cost fills the tank. If I die because of no heat *propane" I pr... read more

i fired amerigas in November of 2021 for double billing and sending late payment notices before bill arrived . told then com pick up tank get it off my property November 2 2021. they said pick it up in three days. now its march 8 2023. after numerous attempts to get tank removed still setting on my property. apparently amerigas employs idiots liars and thefts i would give them negative 200 rating if possible. under no circumstance should any one use these idiots. looking for my legal options to sue them. HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!!! this company does not care about you- they do not care if you have small children and pets to care for and keep warm- if you are out of propane, do NOT expect and emergency delivery in an emergency- but expect to pay for it. Also, be advised not 1 customer service representative speaks English. And Heather- one of thier supervisors should be fired. Hello This is a warning that Amerigas does not do business as per customer service. I have been checking my tanks every day and noticed that after leaving 4 hours that my 500 gallons would be missing 5 percent after this was happening daily. Then is installed a video camera and then while working Amerigas truck was at my house then I called them and asked why your truck at my house then they put 235 gallons in my tanks and billed me 788 dollars. Called them and customer service is nonexistent and said that it was ordered.

AmeriGas has not fulfilled its contractual obligations. They agreed to come out and refill my tank within seven days, per normal scheduling requirements, but they didn't show up. I called and asked for an emergency refill, and they agreed to provide one. I warned them they had a two-day window before a large snow storm was forecast to hit, and they said "understood." My tanks smelled like gas in December 2022 so I called Amerigas to come out and check them. They did come out quickly and turned the tanks off and locked them both out. I have not been able to get them to come back and do a safety check since then. As of now I have no hot water, no stove, and no fireplace. Good thing i have electric heat or i would really be stuck.
