I have been disputing my propane bill since April ‘21. No returned call EVER from whomever customer service says will call. CS is in the Phillipines and they have no means to escalate to a manager or other department. I finally was worn down and dealt with the collection agency where I settled to pay 75% of the bill - and I still calculate they owe me at least $400. I called Amerigas to get a tank fill and they say I still owe $600! They see a payment but old ME to talk to the collection agency and get them to provide the co... read more

America's took over ******** ******* (a company I had been with approximately 12 years). Last year I called AmeriGas repeatedly over a series of months to have my tank filled. No one ever answered nor did they return my calls. They did, however, send me a bill for the tank rental...empty tank I might add. I once again called to have the matter resolved. Back in April 2021, I agreed to the contract to purchase 2-120 gallons from Amerigas. The contract was prepared by an Amerigas sales person and sent to me for review. Then come installation day, I offered to hand them a check, in full amount after they were done with installation. I was told the office will send out an invoice. So, I waited and two days later, I received the invoice and when I opened it, I see the the amount is only for propane, parts, and labor. Avoid at all costs. Divided my one delivery into three each with an increased price and additional delivery charge. I would give 0 stars and referral to the corporation commission if I could.

I have nothing but issues from begining with this company. I am in a rental house with a 75 gallon tank used only for the cook stove. we have purchased gas twice in 2 years which was an ordeal. first year was told had to order a 100 gallon minimum, impossible with a 75 gallon tank. took months to get refund. fast forward to year two ordered again explaining tank at 30 % would only need small amount to fill again was argued with about the size of the tank. issued another refund because had to pay up front for more than the ta... read more

NEVER use AMERIGAS PROPANE 3TMES AMOUNTS TOTAL price Gauging. Than to your contract then they add $150 charge for no reason whatsoever they just PRICE GOUGING and add CHARGES for any reason they want THEY SEND YOU TO CREDIT reports DO NOT USE this company EVER

If I could leave a zero star review I would. The worst customer service experience of my life. We have been without propane for 8 days. No hot water, no stove, etc. it has taken 27 phone calls and we have been on hold collectively for over 7 hours by customer service. Nobody knows what is going on- they all tel you it’s been expedited and nobody has the ability to contact service department. On July 15, Amerigas inspected our tank, as we were new homeowners. The employee said we needed a new tank (no name plate and there was a leak). Ordered new tank and propane through them. Contacted customer service via chat 3 times. They were really helpful and all said they'd expedite the order. Someone even said they'd send the request through their supervisor. Today is July 28, and we chose a different provider because we never heard back from Amerigas.

I AM A MASOCHISTIC IDIOT! Thanks to Amerigas, I now realize this because I have been a customer for 20 years. EVERY year they try to charge me $100 for "Tank Rental", a fee that - by my contract with them - is NOT supposed to assessed if I buy a minimum of gas annually. I always buy the gas, and yet they always still try to sneak this charge in. When I call, they have always - eventually - reverse this incorrect charge.
