This company is a joke. Anytime, I have dealt with them it has been a nightmare and I am on hold for at least an hour then get transferred to be hung up on. I had a possible gas leak and it took them 4 days to get out to me, it was during the coldest below zero days we had this winter, keep that in mind.(I also have a child in the house) Then they over charged me twice $922.62 from account and would not give me money back said they was going to keep it as a credit on my account. this company should be investigated for fraudulant activites. similar to other reviews. paid for propane 3 weeks ago, everytime i call back, they lie and say it is being delivered in "the next 24 hours". based on the number of poor reviews with similar situations - this company should not be in business.
Called America’s on 3/3 &3/4 to get a delivery of propane. Was told we were on a will call. We were always on a automatic delivery. We weee told it would be here on 3/5- NEVER CAME- truck came down street and went right past house. We called again on 3/5 was told it would be delivered. I called on 3/6 and was told it would be delivered by 5pm. NEVER GOT PROPANE DELIVERED- IT WAS TO BE AN EMERGENCY DELIVERY. Today is March 4, 2021. Worst company to deal with. I called to get a propane delivery 2/11 originally when we were at 35%. They came on 2/26, couldn't find the tank and left. Mind you they put an orange stake in the ground as a marker near the tank. We got home that night and the tank was at 10% so we called to ask about the delivery and they said they would put the order right in, after they verified that was our heat source. Wish I could give 0 stars!!! This has got to be one of the worst companies for customer service. I should have switched years ago. I also just found out recently that I am paying on average over a $1 more per gallon for prebuy than most other propane companies that are around me. Makes me sick. Looking into switching companies as soon as possible.
Worst company I’ve ever dealt with. I’ve been on a 24 hour emergency list for almost 2 weeks. I call every day and I’m told “ you’re next in line” or “ I don’t know why you were missed but someone will be there today”. Do not use this company.
Horrible customer service, not able to get a person on the phone. I switched to another company who will take action with AmeriGas to get their 5 tanks removed from my property!!! I have never had such terrible customer service.
Ordered propane on Feb 4. They took my money that day and we have yet to get any propane and we have now been out for 6 days. No hot water, heat or a stove to cook. Numerous calls have not helped at all. Now we request a refund and they tell us it will be 7 business days to get a refund but based on other reviews I am afraid that may not even happen.
Almost out of propane and can’t get anyone to deliver. They don’t respond to emails, calls or mail. They overcharged me by $1.75 per gallon on my last fill. I paid that bill in full at my locked in rate per gallon and have since spent 20 hours attempting to rectify the remaining over billing. I received an email which zeroed out the overcharge; however, Amerigas failed to zero it out on my online account where they are now saying it’s over 60 days delinquent and are charging me late fees!
