Worst optometrist office I've ever been to in Iowa. A major scam. All very unprofessional and uneducated. From the optometrists to the receptionist to the office staff. It has been two months since my first visit and I still have no prescription, no glasses, and no contacts. I've been waiting for sample contacts to try. Staff is very rude. I've been hung up on, waited for two hours while three different people tried to figure out how to order the samples, and have seen two different doctors because of their ineptness. Horrible customer service! We had an appointment for 3 weeks and when the store in middle River MD called to confirm, they mistakenly rescheduled us for a store in New Jersey. When we showed up, no customers in the store the 'manager' said she could not accommodate us. FYI there were zero customers in the store. I Bought 6 pairs of glasses for my family in 2021 from this location and was about to buy 3 more..

favoritism n unjustly serving customers Waited 3 hrs before see the doctor.After ask to come to pretest room .throw me out for other customer in the middle of the appointment. Very disappointed will not come back to this location.

I have had botched cataract in both eyes, and microdegeneration. There are no expectations. Glasses filled the void, and they look good. I get injections in my right eye. When you walk In there it unexplainable. Paper and questions these are nosey and more important then your free eye exam or the results. Which I never got. I was told to see a low vison specialist. New glasses were not needed. Like you expect me after playing 20 questions taking exam to lay hands on me and be healed. I left in tears

Have gone here for five years. Every year there is a problem with the understanding and explaining the copayment with my insurance. They develop a very quick attitude when you try to discuss it and come off quite rude. I have gone for the last time and will not return or purchase from them again

Worst place I have ever been for eyeglasses and contacts. Contacts wrong prescription. Returned February 13, doctor re-examined. Got new rx, now April 8 and manager is finally ordering them. Supposedly another 3 weeks. No return calls, had to keep calling. Definitely will not be returning.

America Best in Mayfield Heights, Ohio is a scam. After buying 2 pair of glasses when I went to pick them up one pair was not the ones I picked out. They acted as thought they did not understand supervisor included. I picked out another pair and the same thing happened again. The same response. Horrible experience somehow they take the pair you picked out and paid for and replace them with another pair. I will never go there again and will tell people how they operate. I called to get a pair of contacts and make an appointment because I used my last pair today and I am going out of town. I woke to Gerald, at the Boynton location and he told me that "it is not his problem" and will not assist me in having a back up pair of contacts until I return. I asked to speak to a manager and he informed me that he is the manager. I have been going to this location for five years and have never been treated with such disrespect.

2 days ago I showed up to my apt on time yet they helped 3 people that came in after me first, then I wait 45 minutes before I got seen for the pre exam. Apparently I had a Tele doc apt not that I had a choice but after waiting an additional 30 minutes they tell me they are having tech issues and tell me they need to reschedule me. I live 1 hr away and the on site eye doc refused to finish my exam, this is completely unacceptable to me but they are just rude and basically tell me too bad.
