America's Best!? More like America's WORST!! If I could give ZERO stars I would! I have officially been trying to schedule an eye exam for a month now! I first scheduled one at the Littleton location for 12/19 (a month ago). They send you all kinds of reminders via email and text, which sounds great IF THEY EVER FOLLOWED THROUGH. My first experience was horrendous, the women that work there (mainly the one short older African American lady..) are extremely rude. Made me super uncomfortable and felt stupid for the size glasses that I picked out stating she couldn't fit them to my face I should've known better etc. Not only that they were "out" of eye cases and wipes etc so they literally threw by brand new glasses together in a bag and showed me out. I got an eye exam, paid full in cash, was fitted with contacts, eyes re-examined and they are refusing to release the prescription to a third party (1800contacts). I have been in twice and they insist on a third visit. The optometrist was excellent (arguably one of the best) which is a shame because the ancillary staff, ****** and her manager, Sarah, were disorganized, rude, and strangely obstinate.

Was refused appointment due to a medical condition, manager was disrespectful and refused to help. Contacted corporate and they did not want to help a customer either. Poor customer service all the way to the top management. Never will return as a customer again.

I contacted the America's Best in Lincoln Square in Fort Worth, TX on 12/22/2020 where I spoke with the manager Darren who disconnected the call with me, instructed and associate to disconnect my call then when I called back a third time he scolded me like a child asking if I was ready to listen to him also I complied only wanting to hear his name and corporate's phone number which he finally gave. 2 weeks ago I went and had an eye exam at America's Best in Cherry Hill NJ. 7 days later I picked up my glasses, got home, and the prescription was wrong. I knew by the ways my eyes wouldn't focus. I went back the next day and stated that the prescription was wrong and was met with a crappy attitude "what do you mean they are 'wrong?'" I explained it and was sent back for another eye exam and was told they made the left script too strong and didnt change the right. this company's entire method of doing business is BAIT & SWITCH. STAY FAR AWAY FROM AMERICA'S "BEST" - THEY ARE AMERICA'S WORST.

Called the stapleton store for directions, the manager insisted I give my location so she could direct me instead of offering there location so I find the store. She was rude. I would suggest if you need glasses don't go to the franchise business.
