I have a problem with my eye and really need an exam immediately. I needed contacts, and 2 pairs of glasses with High index, plus some nice frames, and this lady cancelled my appointment for 4 min. My appointment was at 4:40 p.m. the young lady said she had to cancel my appointment because I was going to arrive at 4:54 p.m. due to traffic on Macland Road. I WOULD LIKE MY 1 PAIR OF GLASSES TO TRANSITION CORRECTLY,after 3 TIMES SENT OFF TO YOUR LAB!!!!!! THAT'S ALL!! First off, within a week of receiving both pair "buy 2 pair promotion" the poly aspheric transition glasses were SCRATCHED all to h*** I was told I can send in that pair of glasses to the lab now or wait till just before the end of the warranty & put up with scratched glasses for a year in case they break in that time period. I purchased glasses and contact lens from America's Best Connecticut Ave Location. The customer service was HORRIBLE!!! The Location ******** I'd give it 0 stars, but I have to write a review. On my exam visit in April 2021 at the Connecticut Ave location. (Mine I haven't had a new pair of glasses in 3 years). They have the worst customer service ever. They don't answer the phone. They don't return calls.They performed my daughters eye exam without me present in the exam .When it came down to her getting her contacts class they wanted her to be there without a parent present either and since she wasn't able to remove her contacts on her own The physician present scratched her eye when removing them. Isn't against the law and medical board for a person underage to have any sort of exam done without a parent/ chaperone present?

America's Best is a DANGEROUS place to do business. I have problems every time I or my family have gone. This time ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!! The doctor gave my daughter the wrong prescription. My daughter is a -6.50 and was told her eyesight has not changed and the doctor gave her a prescription for -6.00. I had to call because she was busy in school and told them what happened. She told me when my daughter goes there, the prescription would be changed and ready to be picked up. She went up there almost a day later and no one knew ... read more

Address: 2215 N Telegraph Rd, Monroe, MI XXXXX I received an eye exam from this location last year around this time as a longtime eye care club member. I did not opt to get glasses from the store that day but instead ordered them later online through America's Best. I purchases glasses with this company not knowing they didn't have a scratch resistant lens. I have been wearing glasses for 26 years and never had this kind of issue. If I had known would not have used this company. My glasses were scratched right away and if I had not paid extra money for any issues they would not have replaced the lenses. Now they are scratched again and the warranty has run out. When the sun is out can hardly see out of them. They were not on our insurance plan and paid a lot of money out of pocket. It is not nice to lie to your clients, I was in the store before the 10 min mark that you claimed system cancel the apponintment. I know for sure I heard and seen an staff member sitting at the computer ask another staff member about canceling the 10:45 as she looked me dead in the eyes. So the lie is the system did change and staff member changed it. That's ok I'll take my business and money elsewhere where they do not lie to their clients after people reviewing this I'm sure some will also take their business elsewhere.

Americas best is a ****** place to go for contacts or glasses very unprofessional rude dont have a clue as to what they are doing i had ordered contacts for my kids one of theirs had to get reordered cause the order was never placed so she waited almost 2 months for them my son had to wait over a month i calles every week to see if they were in not one person can find them after they called and said they were in i sent my mother to go pick them up and every single person was rude like it was an inconvenience they has to work... read more
