This store just discriminated against me, embarrassed me in public and waisted a good amount of my time. I am unfortunately disabled with 2 major disabilities. One is very noticeable due to the limp and carbon fiber leg brace. The other is not as visibly noticeable. I have severe respiratory issues due to a growth defect as a child. I only have one lung, which only functions at approximately 80%. So I am unable to wear the "covid masks" without passing out. This place is just greedy for money , no ******** service!! This is the second time and I **** never return . I made an appointment and was asked about insurance told him where I worked. Thinking they would look up my insurance, they said they could look it up. I get there and no one asked me about my insurance. I was seen and the wait long wait to pick out glasses, I asked could I return and pick them out and just get my prescription. I was told 👎 I had to see a CS agent. America's Best in Victor NY advertises if you buy 2 pair of glasses you get exam for free. I purchases 2 pairs of ladies sunglasses with a different prescription in each. I wanted one pair for distance and one pair with bifocals for reading. They made one pair completely wrong and told me I needed to pay an additional $110 to fix their mistake. When I told them I couldn't pay to fix their error I was offered a refund for the glasses minus the eye exam that they now charged me for. Corporate is no help. Manager at location to... read more

Dr. Erwin *** at the branch in Macedonia, OH spent the eye exam telling me racist and ageist jokes. There were lots of other reasons why my experience with him was unpleasant and made me doubt the accuracy of my exam results, but dealing with a racist optometrist is far beyond my threshold. I hope America's Best shows that they do not condone racism and gets rid of him. There is 0 excuse for racism - not only is it unprofessional, but perpetuating racist attitudes on any level is dangerous.

This is the second time that I've had a problem out of America's best basically they cut my first pair glasses one pair of them wrong and I had to get them redone over the next time my family what day is it to get glasses each of them got two pairs each they called and said the glasses was ready and they wasn't and they were just so nonchalant about it like it's not a continuous problem this is the second time but it'll be the last for me no more chances for America's best they are terrible they are very

I bought a pair of glasses on July 22,2020 with a paid for one year insurance policy. I picked up my glasses on August 13, 2020. I attempted to replace my scratched lenses on August 10, 2021. they said my insurance was for one year stating on July 22, 2020. I contend that I paid for one full year of protection and only got and only got 11 months. They did not tell me my coverage started on July 22. It should start on the day I picked them up the glasses .

The customer service was horrible the manager in the store of St Louis Park Minnesota by the name of Rob needs customer service training very badly he's not honest he's rude and he has no customer service skills and I will never visit that store again but I will be calling the office again on Monday because I I know for a fact first of all they sold me the display and also I do not have the correct prescription this was the worst experience of an eye exam I've ever had in my life and I've been wearing glasses since I was 10 ... read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE I booked an appointment 2 weeks ago for myself and my 96 year old mom. 1 hour before my appointment i got a call from the office saying i will be having a remote appointment. I told them i had never heard of that. they explained that i would not be seeing a doctor, that i would be talking to a doctor on a computer screen. I asked to speak to a manager. ******** service with Maria Toro was full of sales talk, upgrades, and membership signup. My order for contacts was "lost in the mail". I have waited over 30 days and the store has still not received them. The submission of the order is the responsibility of the sales rep who seemed more interested in commissions than the responsibility of her job. If you don't like the corporate feel, waiting on hold for over 20 minutes, talking to several different employees, and getting lost in the confusion, than avoid America's Best.
