advertises $69 exam plus two free pairs of glasses, and then tried to charge an additional 80$ for a contact prescription that was not stated was not part of the exam. Unethical to bait and switch like that.

I have came here for years to get glasses. I finally decided to get contacts and theyve definitely ruined the whole experience. They have absolutely no clue what they are doing. I had an appointment canceled for no reason. No one called me when my trial contacts showed up. I took the contacts class twice and they passed me even though I couldnt get them out. I know that most people posts negative reviews and satisfied customers rarely stop to write positive reviews. With that said, I am disappointed in the service I have (and still receiving) from Americas Best in **********, **. They did take my vision insurance, and thats a positive. However, I had the feeling that I was being served by a part-time high school student with my fitting. I couldn't even get an appointment when I have a ruesite issue. I can't see out of my left eye. It's cloudy. I called America's best where I have the eye care plan and couldn't even get an appointment to be seen. I called several locations all of which where booked solid until April. I can't see anything at all out of my left eye. I ended up having to make an appointment with an urgent care place. I think it's awful that I pay for a plan and can't even be seen. My wife got Eyeglasses first I got Eyeglasses second and then both my kids got two pair of glasses on their special and the store we used was the one on flintlock and everybody there was very very helpful and professional would highly recommend this store

I did not receive a full contact lenses exam but was charged 40 dollars exam was less than 7 mins total

Took my 7 year old special needs son in for an eye exam at the ****************************************************************************************** location . Optometrist was very rude to him from the time we walked into the exam room. He is special needs and does not know all his letters and numbers. I put this into thier ******** page : Too expensive! Bait and Switch. You are brought into the store by the Buy 2 eyeglasses for a certain low price and get a free exam. But they dont tell you untill you are there. That deal is only for the cheapest plastic and not bifocals. So you go with the better plastic and that whole deal is null. you have to pay for the exam and 20 dollars extra for a full exam. and You end up leaving 3 to 4 hundred dollars poorer for one pair. I called to get a sample pair of contacts until I am able to purchase a box when I get paid. I was refused. I stated I have never gotten a trail pair of contacts before I always bought a box of contacts. Her reason for not letting me get a sample pair of contacts was because when I got a eye exam they gave me a pair to try on when I got my exam which that same day I order 2 boxes of contacts as well and my contacts are always in stock so I get them the same day.
