Yeah, I purchased two pair of glasses, the tag on both pair said $79 dollars ten bucks more? That is acceptable. My glasses were plain, no bifocal, no Trasitions, no scratch resistant coating. And my insurance took some dollars off. Still costs me $89 and change. I think I'll go to ***** World next time.

I went in for an eye exam on Monday, September 20, 2021. All went well with my exam and visit and the doctor and I discussed contact lenses since I'd never worn them before. She ordered in a trial and said they'd call to schedule a "class" when they came in so I could learn how to use them. Fast forward to Oct 13th at 11:30 AM. I arrived at the store and was told my appointment had been cancelled because the doctor had a family emergency. 2 Appointments initial eye exam and a contact lens training which is separate probably cost more then the eye exam it's absurd. Can't order contacts due to no training when the eye doctor supplied the eye prescription they should in turn do the training same day without a separate appointment, it's been over a month since the first initial exam no contacts yet because doctors schedule booked out. Not even a trail pair...and I can't order still after the training because it requires a third appointment.....before any consent ... read more

Be very careful using this company, they made my prescription glasses incorrect and blamed it on my eyes possibility needing surgery and referred me to my eye specialist, after 2 separate independent eye exams and extra specialist doctor fees. My eye specialist doctor laughed at America best suggestion for surgery and gave me the results that my eyes did not need surgery and my prescription was made wrong.

I guess I should have read the reviews before going to Americas best this has been the worst experience ever!!! My husband paid $300 for his glasses and got exactly what he needed Americas best attempted three times to make my glasses correct and never succeeded. Reached out to their corporate office never got any satisfaction still trying to get my money back they could care less and now I see why they are not rated with the BBB. Do yourself a favor and never go there!

If I could give this Zero stars I would. Yeah they run ads such as 2 for $69.95/2 for $99.00, But what they fail to tell you is that they use the cheapest materials that they can and if you break your classes through no fault of your own because they use such cheap material your glasses have to be sent out and if your blind in one eye and purchased only 1 pair of glasses than your struck , cuz they have to send your glasses Out for repair; and sometimes it takes up to two weeks to get it back. This is in regards to the America's Best in Largo, Florida. Dr. Derek ****** is a horrible person! He is extremely mean and scary. Back in the examination room, just Dr. ****** and I, he had me crying and sobbing and shaking. I felt threatened by him. I purchase a pair of eyes glasses a few months ago from America's Best. The first week I had them. They got a knik in the left lense. They are suppose to be under a warranty, but when I went back I was give a hard time. I paid extra money to have a coating on the lenses, but now they are so scratched up that the lenses are like looking through fog. I have never used any paper products to clean them with.
