Worst experience I've ever had at an eye Dr. It was at the Long Beach California place. The doctor wrote the prescription wrong. I had to wait 2 weeks for the other pair. The second ones were still wrong. I went in the 3rd time and the doctor wouldn't listen to me and told me to guess the letters I was supposed to see. When I told her I had no idea she read the letters to me and wrote that down as my prescription. I explained this to the office and they didn't offer any other services. Scam organization - classic bait and switch Had on online offer for two pairs glasses for $69 tried to sell me 1 pair for $288 I finally purchased 1 pair for $140 Went back for refund but had to pay the $50 for the eye exam
My father was a long time customer of theirs. He bought a pair of glasses a year ago. Since then, the nose piece fell off twice and now the arm fell off. He is not hard on his glasses. They refuse to fix or replace. Will never go back to them. I receive much better service at Walmart and Target.

On Tuesday February 9, 2021 I went to America's Best store #5483 located at 551 S Lincoln Highway New Lenox Illinois. I ordered and paid in full for glasses for myself ($200.39), son ($229.17), and daughter ($167.95). I was told the glasses will take anywhere between 12 to 14 days to come in. Long story short, their ad says "2 pairs of glasses and an exam for $69'', but after six weeks of waiting to get an appointment, and when the exam was over, they quoted me $480 to get 1 pair of readers and 1 pair with transitionÂlenses for reading a computer screen. I asked the sales person for the price for just 1 pair of their most basic glasses for reading a computer screen and was told 1 pair would only be $280. ONE pair for $280 is a far cry from TWO pairs for $69. spend extra few dollars and shop at a reliable place. on Jan 30th i visited the Mansell GA facility to get my glasses and contacts. i ordered 2 pair of glasses and paid for the services. they made me come 3 times once for the exam, one to pick up my glasses and once to pick up the trial contacts. i cannot continue to take off work and go there 4th time and requested my contacts prescription mailed to me. they refused. they **** not provide you the information unless you come back so they can continue to upsale you. even thou... read more
Don't get me wrong I had a great experience while there with everybody that work there even the doctor seemed nice. It did take a while for me to finally get my prescription the two for one deal is legit only if they could get my prescription right. it did take the doctor a while to finally write a prescription for me plus he would not even give me a prescription for contact lenses which I've been wearing since I was 15 years old he said I'm not a candidate which I don't believe now. Son bought glasses 4 months ago and the frame broke at spot welded area while cleaning them. Told him if he didn't purchase a warranty they would not replace frames even though their website says 1 yr warranty. Told him he applied too much pressure while cleaning them. A lot of excuses to not support their 1 year warranty that is posted on their website. He's had other glasses and never had this problem before. Cheap glasses and the worst customer service.
I made an appointment for March 3. 2021 at 440 pm Due to circumstances out of my control I arrived at 451pm. After being given 2 forms to filled out I was informed that because of covid there's no grace period allowed. Had I seen this while making my appointment I would have not bothered to continue to appointment. Please provide late information to me on your website.
