Ive been a customer for almost a year now. Never had any issues until they recently had the change where you can no longer access multiple gyms. I have my husband on my plan we were notified via email that if we did not select a gym we would be enrolled into Fitness 19. We go to the gym 5-6 times a week. Last week my husband was notified that there was an issue with his acct. We log in and see he was enrolled into another gym. I really thought A&F would fix the issue, I was so wrong. The WORST company . Awful customer service. So many technical glitches that they take zero accountability for. Such a disorganized mess.

Easy to set up accounts, affordable membership dues but seemingly dishonest, predatory business practices to retain unused premiums. I had a membership with Active & Fit Direct (AFD) which I tried to call and cancel during business hours. However, I was unable to connect with someone so sent an email instead. AFD took so long in their email replys that I was charged another month which they refuse to refund now. As far as I can tell, this is a scam, not a legitimate business. I registered for an Anytime Fitness and paid them $84. I never received access the Anytime Fitness. I called them and they said they had no record of any membership with me. I spoke with Active&Fit Direct and they told me they could try for a refund, but I probably wouldn't get it because my membership had been active for too long, even though at no point was I ever able to get into the gym. So they took my money and never gave me a product - just thievery.

Yes I do wish I could give ZERO stars. I've been a member and like others I was using a few different gyms - ok they realized that model of business doesn't work. As an entrepreneur I get it. So I started going only to one gym before the switch and they said they'll assign you to the one you go to most. They did not. Then i had to chat with a bot and get hung up on after waiting on hold for a human being only to see later they switched me...to the OTHER gym i WASN'T going to! I signed up for this service to be able to use 2 different gyms for one price. They changed the rule and now you have to pay per gym. They sent an email saying to select your primary gym before July 1st. I went in to select my primary gym on 6/30 but they put the website in maintenance and you couldn't change it. So they put the gym I didn't want to keep as my primary and won't fix it. Horrible and greedy company. I am a service connected combat deployed veteran who found the $28 memberships for access to multiple gyms great for me as I do a lot of traveling around as a Veteran Advocate. Now they are telling me it will be an extra $23 per gym that I want to add which is impossible. This is so disgustingly disingenuous... I wouldn't have minded the old program at $40 a month even but this new setup is so horrible. I had a membership with LA Fitness, decided to go with A/F and pay extra per month to have other fitness club options if needed. Now A/F is changing their policy to only having one option for standard plan. I',m now paying them $6 extra a month for the gym I've been going to for 12yrs!!! Not right!!

Signed up 2 years ago And loved this program! Then **********************************, the *** and President decided three hundred thousand a year wasnt enough salary to punish us by raising fees and changing the ability to use more the 1.
