As far as I can tell, this is a scam, not a legitimate business. I registered for an Anytime Fitness and paid them $84. I never received access the Anytime Fitness. I called them and they said they had no record of any membership with me. I spoke with Active&Fit Direct and they told me they could try for a refund, but I probably wouldn't get it because my membership had been active for too long, even though at no point was I ever able to get into the gym. So they took my money and never gave me a product - just thievery.

Yes I do wish I could give ZERO stars. I've been a member and like others I was using a few different gyms - ok they realized that model of business doesn't work. As an entrepreneur I get it. So I started going only to one gym before the switch and they said they'll assign you to the one you go to most. They did not. I signed up for this service to be able to use 2 different gyms for one price. They changed the rule and now you have to pay per gym. They sent an email saying to select your primary gym before July 1st. I went in to select my primary gym on 6/30 but they put the website in maintenance and you couldn't change it. So they put the gym I didn't want to keep as my primary and won't fix it. Horrible and greedy company. I am a service connected combat deployed veteran who found the $28 memberships for access to multiple gyms great for me as I do a lot of traveling around as a Veteran Advocate. Now they are telling me it will be an extra $23 per gym that I want to add which is impossible. This is so disgustingly disingenuous... I had a membership with LA Fitness, decided to go with A/F and pay extra per month to have other fitness club options if needed. Now A/F is changing their policy to only having one option for standard plan. I',m now paying them $6 extra a month for the gym I've been going to for 12yrs!!! Not right!!

I had my son signed up and then they told me I couldnt add him since he was 18 and already taken my money and when I called for the refund the denied me it because he wasnt ****************************************************** the first place. Im an upset that I hat to pay 2 months of membership and not even get a refund this is absurd. On top of that now they went from 3 gyms to only one gym I will be leaving this program as soon as this new gym opens up close to my house that has better rates than them..

I signed up for the Active & Fit direct program in March because of the need to have multiple gyms due to my irregular work schedule. It was offered for $28 a month and that included access to multiple gyms for just the $28 price. It was a great deal that I recommended to multiple coworkers who have the same issues I do. Come July 1st, they're changing the plan that the $28 is only good for one gym and its an additional $23 for every gym after that.
