My daughter has autism and has been receiving OT theraoy twice a week for two years. All of a sudden she is denied twice a week to continue down to just once a week. We did a peer to peer and they upheld their decision even with the medical letter from her developmental pediatrician along with her OT records why its necessary we stay at twice a week. This gave me a panic attack and we are still fighting them.

I have been a member for 2 1/2 years. My debit card recently changed and I thought I updated it last month via the website but it only processed the payment. This month I got a message saying payment failed I tried to update the information but it wouldnt update it , couldnt login or reset password with my email address. I am a chiropractor. ASH is used in Georgia with Cigna, Aetna and BCBS. We are given 5 visits initially to get you better. After that we have to submit a 3-4 page electronic request to someone that doesn't interact with me, review chart notes or interact with the patient. You are lucky to get an additional 5 visits but has to be in a small time frame. I have never experienced such extreme incompetence and lack of professionalism. Despite being told multiple times from ****** and from me that my health coverage was through ****** and that I had chiropractic coverage (not Cigna which I had about 15 years ago), ASH continued to deny my ****** chiropractic claim and attempt to say I have no coverage. I signed up through a site that said "Active & Fit" - come to find out I had actually paid through "Active & Fit Direct" even though the membership card said "Active & Fit". I got the run around from both Active & Fit Direct and the gym that it was just a glitch why they couldn't find me. Come to find out, they don't support the gym I want to go to at all. I signed up for ****** and *** Direct at the end of 2019 and of course by 2020 ***** had hit. ****** and *** continued to charge me 25$ a month even though all of the gyms were closed. American Specialty Health (***) is a subcontractor of *********** whose job it is to approve claims related to chiropractic and other "alternative" treatments. I have arthritis of the hip and have been seeing a great chiropractor for years, and have found it helpful in preventing back spasm and keeping my hip functioning better.
