I put a sofa on layaway in 2019 and still have NOT received it! I paid it off 3/16/20 which is the day the shutdowns began so I waited to request it. I requested it in October 2020 and even had it transferred to another store which told me to call back in 2 weeks, 2 weeks came and another 2 weeks. So I waited until March...and was then told it was never coming to the store I transferred it to, to transfer it back to the original store. I bought a Whirlpool compact washer and dryer from the Nashville store. I bought it using the financing plan. I was offered the 5 year warranty and declined because honestly I couldn't afford it. They were delivered one evening and the next day I did several loads. That evening my son did one load. The next day I did one load and that evening my son attempted to do a load. Buyer Beware! Horrible Company! They delivered a refrigerator that did not work. This is exactly why they have a no refund policy. They sell junk and then make you go through numerous steps to get a replacement. It has been 4 weeks trying to get a replacement. A technician has to verify that the appliance is unrepairable, it then takes the repair company 10 business days to submit the request for replacement to American Freight. In my case, I had to request this paperwork be sent directly to me so I could walk it into the Am... read more

I wish I could leave 0 stars. This place is absolutely ridiculous. I bought a matress and box springs, a rug, and headboard all for my new home. The box springs broke in 2 days. Took a week for someone to contact me back because the manager was never there. They said they would return the bed. I take the matress and box springs back and the manager left a note stating they would return the box springs only. What's this horrible matress good for with no box springs. So now I have to call the store back and fight with them. We... read more

I originally wrote a negative review about the furniture and warranty I purchased from American Freight. To be totally honest, I was not happy. I tried reaching out to the company that built the furniture, AF policy, and never received return email nor phone calls. I finally wrote the negative review on this site. To my surprise, the manager from AF called me and the furniture has been replaced. It took work on my part but AF has made the warranty work.

You suck at service and customer service bought washer and dryer washer was delivered smash on the top and the the dryer is Mia I was told there is nothing they can do keep away from this company.

I don't understand how this company warrants an A+ rating. The furniture looks good, but...... we bought living room, den and kitchen furniture. Reclining couch broke, kitchen bench broke. Filed a claim over 4 months ago and have not heard back. The store manager has washed his hands and says that that he has no power to help. The bottom line? I feel violated Buyer beware here

Order the maytag washer had dents and scratches like pictures. Picked up item and installed in home but no power to washer.,called the store and was told that it's still under the 30 day warranty to call maytag and request for a tech to come out. The tech came over and said motherboard not working need to order parts and it's going to be a while for the item to be shipped. 3 weeks and still no washer called both store and tech they just passing the buck.
