They advertise very low prices for a bedroom set but it is not actually true. It’s one piece to begin with. They are a high pressure bait and switch operation and now I feel regret that they pushed me into spending $2,000 on crap furniture when I thought I could get a complete bedroom set for like $600 or $800 as they advertised. I needed bedroom furniture right away and caved in to the pressure although it’s way more than I can afford. And the financing is at an extremely high rate. 

Business response:

American Freight advertised prices state what is included for the price. There are global issues with product availability that may cause delays in receiving the product. If an item is needed quickly, the store will provide guidance on options that meet that need. The financing is handled by a third party company, American First Finance, and they send the documents directly to the customer to review and sign. The store is not involved in that process.

This was the worse experience ever I ordered a sectional online however it went to the wrong store I contacted the store they were very rude very ghetto unprofessional kept hanging up in my face would not answer the phone I nearly nearly $1000 at this point I don’t want the furniture I just want my money back they are not helpful at all this is the Jackson Mississippi location this location needs to be Re-advised

The absolute worst furniture company I have ever bought from. The worst costumer service. We bought a living room full of furniture and couch was delivered broken. 2 months later I still do not have a replacement.

American Freight has swapped the items for the customer. Global supply issues have impacted product availability slowing resolution.

Brought a couch on Saturday was than told today Monday they couldn’t deliver it. Couch never left the store so per their policy I am entitled to a full refund. The manager at the store claims they switch POS systems on Sunday and could not verify anything orders at all previous to the POS switch so they somehow can’t find my order even though I have my receipt. I’ve asked for a cancellation and a refund and the store manager is refusing to cooperate and cooperate doesn’t answer the phones. Horrible customer service and even ... read more

We apologize for the inconvenience. American Freight did just complete a system conversion this weekend and there was a lag as all the order data was transferred to the new POS system. Your order has been refunded. Please allow 2-4 days for it to post to your account.

They sold me a used broken washer dryer on May 2020 for $1400, no returns acceptable. The product is still broken and not usable. I asked for a return so they fowarded me to GE which they too are not able to help. I paid for five year warranty which is also non refundable. At this point I just want my money back.

I placed a order on 3/19/21, using financing. I was told my order would be delivered 3/23/21 called to confirm Only to be told my order would be canceled because they NO longer have what I ordered. Called customer service several times only to get no customer service , no manger would come to the phone, just an on well try looking again. Furniture I purchased was poor quality with seams ripping. I now have to pay for a delivery fee of 60.00 to get my waiting furniture..I should not have to pay for their 3rd party delivery since it was not my fault couch didnt last ..they should have a funds account for customers who have and will go thru with what I'm am having to deal with.

American Freight has contacted the customer to explain the warranty coverage and advised the new items are being delivered on 4/8. In addition, warranty coverage was updated to the 5 year plan.

Never will I ever do business with this store. Salesperson was rude, and didn't know anything about the products he was selling. He couldn't get me prices for certain items on display and walked around aimlessly. When I finally paid for the items I ordered, they wanted to nickel and dime me for delivery fee, and set up. Finally 3 days later, I get my items delivered, only to find that they are incomplete(missing needed hardware). Missing items do occur from the manufacturer at times. Supplies are not being replenished as quickly do to the global pandemic so the store offered to reimburse for hardware plus a credit for inconvenience rather than have the customer wait for the manufacturer.

Don't actually have the items they are selling! Don't confirm an order and tell you that you can come pick it up, then tell you your items haven't been in stock there for over a year, and they haven't had any of what you purchased for quite awhile. Don't take peoples money and inconvenience them. Not to mention get them excited about getting something only to disappoint them because you don't have what you are selling!
