I had to leave after waiting an hour for an insurance check. Went to another urgent care and was seen with no problems within ten minutes. I would not recommend going here unless you’d like to spend all day with staff who are friendly but incompetent.

We are so thankful for AFC, they were the only ones open at 6:00 on Sunday night. We drove from Gardendale to have my husband’s hand seen. He was bitten by a Brown Recluse spider. Everyone there was so nice & caring! The receptionist asked if I was an ambulance 🚑 driver because we got so quickly. The swelling has gone down in my husband’s hand, so thankful he was able to get meds soon after the bite‼️
You won’t want to use this place unless you have a spare $1200 in the bank to pay them when they don’t use your preferred provider after you have specifically asked them to do so and they agree. You may end up with a $1200 bill for your blood work too. Their ratings speak for themselves. They have more negative reviews than positive.
I was in and out within 30 minutes. The staff was professional and courteous. The doctor did a thorough exam, answered all of my questions and gave me the necessary medication. I have visited this facility several times and have always been pleased.
