I went to deposit $400 at this location on 8/25/2021 and the teller said I had only sent $300. After their investigation the branch manager called me to tell me that they couldn’t exactly tell on camera how many bills were sent (4 $100’s is what I sent) and the teller was “shuffling” his hands like a normal transaction, but there was not a camera pointed on the employee during this transaction. I applied for auto loan face them all required documents and they keep asking for more after they said I was approved,then out the blue they denied after I sent my ID ,never gave me a legit reason and my credit is excellent,my business is in good standing. Trevor the supervisor never returned my calls to help me,never would I recommend American first credit union necee

America First allows merchants you purchase with to make purchases you did not authorize so long as they run your card for it. They will not have your back even after 20 years of patronage.

I will never use America First again. I went into the local branch this week and told them I wanted to pay off my loan. They gave me the payoff amount, and I wrote the check in that amount. Today I noticed that I had a balance of 44 cents still on the loan. I called America First and asked why there was a balance. They said it accrued interest since the day (2 days ago) I paid it off in their office. I said, okay, well can you remove it? They told me they’d have to get approve with a supervisor. I had a car loan through America First. My wife paid it off in 2017, but the teller provided the wrong pay-off amount. A couple months later, I called to see where the car title was, and the customer service person apologized, said we had OVERPAID by a couple dollars, and said she'd take care of it. Fast forward four years, and I discover a severely bad mark on my credit from one of the credit agencies from... America First. They claim I never paid the car off and that they wrote it off. I previously wrote a review regarding paying off my rv loan in a very timely manner-way ahead of schedule. The office never sent out my title. They said the correct Dept was not notified I paid it off. Anyway, I was contacted by a representative who apologized for them dropping the ball. I appreciate her follow up after my review on BBB. Although she could not rectify the issue, hopefully they come up with a plan of correction so this does not happen to another customer. I bought an RV and financed half of it. The dealer picked America First. I was skeptical because America First made me open an account with them to get the loan (with 1$ of which they reimbursed) My credit is excellent and anyone would have taken me. All the paperwork was done and I had been there for hours. I told the dealer I didn’t appreciate being made to open an account that I didn’t want opened. However, I continued and left with my RV. Did a Zelle (4/7/2021) and was told by a representative I could cancel since the funds since they did not come out of my account yet. Well, The funds were withdrawn from my account and when I spoke to Dawn she said they should be back within 24 hours. I called today April 9 and now I am told the funds will not be returned til Monday. Thank you for ruining my weekend because I do not have my available money. I've used this credit union for two purchases solely for the length of term and interest rate options they provide. That's where the good part ends. Both deals turned into nightmares and the company doesn't seem to care about the hell they're putting me through as a client. I am now on my 4th month of trying to register my RV after America First lost the title and then insisted on sending it to the DMV who lost it then found it and sent it back again.
