My husband Jason D and I were very impressed with the pest service we received. He arrived within a couple of minutes of my designated window, and was quick and efficient with his work. Walter Poletine was VERY nice and friendly. I really enjoyed talking to him while he worked. He asked me what pest problems I was having and explained exactly where they might be coming from. Really great service providers! I just moved to Houston and was looking to set up a pest control service for our new house. Well, the service came to us! Ray Gonzalez was making rounds in our neighborhood to advertise the product/service and he couldn't have been nicer. Very friendly and informative. I decided to go with Alterra right then. Chris Lopez came out to our house. He was on time, courteous, friendly and helpful. He answered all of my questions. He put us at ease and he was fast. He sprayed both levels of my house, the outside and the garage. I hope that when they come back for the quarterly treatment it is Chris.
We are new to the Houston area and were surprised at the huge number of bugs everywhere. Treating them ourselves hadn't made a dent in the numbers, so we had planned to contact a pest control service for help. This was my first time using a pest control service. James Sullivan (rep) took time to explain the T&C's, billing and scope of work. When I told him that my work schedule would prevent me from scheduling my initial treatment for 2 weeks (it was 6:00pm) he called Kevin Tantillo (who was already off for the day) and asked if he could treat my home immediately. Joey Gary and Josh Rendelman's service was wonderful and they showed up when promised. Carefully went over our needs and was very respectful of our space and home. We feel very secure that we were given every service we needed. Very satisfied and will recommend Alterra to our friends and family.

I'm not really sure what I was paying them for. After their visit, I would still have to buy roach traps, still had ants in my sink and I even had a bug fall on me while in the shower. They would always say they could do a repeat visit if I wasn't happy, but when I would call to schedule them to come out a second time they would always have an excuse as to why they couldn't.
