Anytime something goes wrong with a transmission it can be a scary experience both on the road and after the problem has been evaluated. Alonso's first walked me through how the problem ocuurred and then took the time to continually keep me updated as repairs were being done. Rey & Ralph were very courtesious and professional throughout the entire process, always taking time to take my calls and answering my questions. On 01-01-15 I was on my way to spend the day with dear friends, all of a sudden my car went kaput in the middle of the road. I immediately called AAA and was towed back home and was told that apparently my transmission was shot. Called my brother, he asked a friend for a referral to a transmission place...that's how I found Alonso Transmission and Ray, from the moment I spoke to Ray to the moment I picked up my car he was friendly, informative, polite, professional and very courteous. This was my second visit to Alonso Transmissions. On both occasions they were very friendly, honest and quick to advise what the problem was. I have recommended them to several friends with transmission problems and they were also very satisfied. Both Rafael and Al were fantastic! I was even given a ride home by Alonso Senior!!! Who does that in Miami???? Great service and prices!
It was my first time having a transmission rebuilt on one of my cars and I had great experience @ Alonso Transmission. They towed the car and evaluated it before any work or agreement was done. Rey & Ralph were extremely helpful and they provided outstanding customer service. Ray kept me informed with the job progress and the job was completed in only (2) days. I was referred by a friend who strongly recommended Alonso Transmissions and they did not dissapoint. I went by because i have a stick shift car and was having trouble with my transmission, surprisingly enough. I was given the most honest response and didnt feel like i was being hustled, better yet like i was actually being "helped". There was a short wait and we cut to the chase quickly.
