STOP LOOKING ELSEWHERE!! I just relocated from Atl, GA, and was very frustrated that my transmission stopped working properly for my Suburban on the way back. I was also very nervous because lets face it... Miami does not have the best REPUTATION! I went to Alonso and I was shocked. The customer service was incredible, the car was completed as promised and the car is running better than it has in a long time. The transmission changes great! Great Company Great People! As a company owner its hard to find good quality service with a fast turn around. I can't afford to have any of my trucks out of service. Best transmission shop I ever encountered. My transmission was failing due to a manufacturer defect and never worked properly - banging into 2nd gear. Ralph knew all about it and patiently answered as I pestered him on specs and techie questions. Outside of an expired recall window and completely failing after a timing belt replacement, I had it replaced/repaired at Alonso. My car has never shifted this smoothly. What amazing service!!! We took our 99 Honda CRV because of an oil leak somewhere behind the transmission that Pepboys couldn't deal with. When we took it in, we thought it was on it's last leg. It made horrible noises when we applied the brake. No one could figure out why, since the brakes were fine. It made grinding noises sometimes when we turned. Also a mystery.
