these guys were awesome. very truthful and extremely helpful. they have a customer for life with me for sure. i got the run around from two other mechanics, came here after my uncle recommending them, and they diagnosed and fixed the problem without the bs everyone else gave me.

I called various places and they all gave me outrageous quotes. I was about to give up and just head to my dealer but I decided to call one more place and I'm sure glad I did. I spoke to a gentlemen by the name of Ralph and all I can say is white glove service from start to finish. All the work was done in a timely manner and it was done right, and I saved at least 30% compared to going to the dealer. When the automatic transmission in m 1984 pickup truck started jerking the truck back and forth and making terrible loud banging and clanging noises, I nursed it home and did my internet research, and called Alonso Transmission. I was devasted when I was told by a mechanic's shop that I was going to need a new transmission that was going to cost more that $1600 (albeit this was from a tire specialty shop) - especially since my car was less than 5 years old and I'd always taken perfect care of it. This shop is a jewel! The shop is immaculate, the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Ralph is an honest man, full of integrity, and someone I would certainly trust with my vehicle. They were referred to me by my mechanic at Westchester Tire Center. They looked at my vehicle and kept it for a couple of days after I had already taken it to another place. I have a 2003 BMW 325Ci and I have problems with the transmission. I took it to the dealership at first and they gave me a crazy quote "$5,000" to fix the transmission. I was like WTF!?!
