How disappointing. No one has time for lazy, insensitive, discriminatory behavior. Especially in health care. I always wonder "WHY? What are you doing in the line of health care?" People who are sick and are in pain shouldn't have to deal with your bad attitude. Over the weekend I had the most terrible abdominal pain ever and ended up in the ER. My son was involved in a car accident and the nurse seemed to help people in alphabetical order and not by priority. The people he came with was seen right away, but he didn't get seen until 4 hours after he got checked in. His injuries was the one that required meds. Very disappointed in this inbred hospital. They have no organization skills whatsoever.

One week ago my brother in law passed to the next at Mercy Hospital. From the moment we entered the emergency department to the time of John's passing we were treating with genuine care and concern for John and all of us. Special thanks to the emergency doctors, nurses and staff in the emergency department, the doctor in intensive care and the nurses and doctors who worked with 2nd floor west patients, especially nurse Lisa.
I personally don't like this place. Not only do I get ignored when I go in but it's just not a comfortable place. I just recently went in and told 5 different people including the nurse that I was dehydrated couldn't keep anything down and an hour later she comes in to switch me to another room and freaks out saying "why didn't you tell anyone especially the guy who came in to draw your blood" she was irritated she has to re inject an I.v after I told them many times.
